According to various reports, Hewitt’s overall net worth is approximately $20 million. She replaced Connie Britton at the beginning of Season 2. She portrays Maddie Buckley and is billed under the show’s stars and executive producers, Angela Bassett and Peter Krause.
“You can’t replace Connie Britton,” 9-1-1 showrunner Tim Minear told The Things. “What you need is someone who is irreplaceable themselves. She’s sort of America’s TV sweetheart. Audiences love seeing her on their screens. They feel like she’s already part of their family.”
As third billed, she receives quite the compensation. She also negotiated a raise before Season 5 kicked off.
Deadline reported that Bassett makes “north of $450,000 an episode.” This is unclear if it includes her executive producing credit. Krause allegedly got a 25% increase which made him “in the low $300k per episode range.” Kenneth Choi, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, and Ryan Guzman are said to have made approximately $100,000 an episode for Season 6.
Aside from 9-1-1, she also promotes various products and has various partnerships and brand deals. She recently partnered with Clear Blue as she gave birth to her third child, her son, Aidan James.
The Youngest ‘9-1-1’ Castmember
Oliver Stark shares a good amount of scenes with Gavin McHugh, who portrays Christopher Diaz. When he looks back at past episodes, he’s amazed at how he has seen him grow over the course of the series. Diaz joined the cast during Season 2 and has become a pivotal part of the story.
“When I watch an earlier season and think about [Gavin] now, ‘what happened? You are so big!’” Stark told Hello Magazine.”When you see someone weekly you don’t notice changes until you go back and look, and – you were a kid, and now you’re turning into a young adult! But it’s strange and lovely to be a big part of that.”
Stark said that working with McHugh is one of his favorite parts of his day. He also teased that in Season 5B, he will have more scenes with him.
“I see fans loved it, and for me personally, it is so lovely working with Gavin,” he added. “He’s such a great spirit and really brilliant at what he does, and he’s a nice person to work with.”
The 9-1-1 star revealed that he appreciated the storyline of Buck and Christopher’s guardianship.
“[It was] a nod to the connection these two guys have which cannot be denied, there is something really close between them, and meaningful,” he said.
Stark said that his character would be struggling with life choices in the second half of this season. Overall, it should bring some insight to him.
“I think one of the main things we get to see in [5B] is that Buck has a block when it comes to understanding why Eddie would want to do it long term,” he explained. “It comes from a place of wanting his partner by his side. Buck will struggle and won’t completely understand – but he will have to get used to it.”
