Season 3 of 9-1-1: Lone Star has almost arrived, and there is some serious star power in store!

While the series doesn’t return until January, Ronen Rubinstein shared a teaser trailer for the upcoming drama. The brief clip shows off two new guest stars in the upcoming season. Both actors share a common previous work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Julie Benz and Amy Acker will be joining the cast as guest stars! It is unclear what exactly their roles will be and if it is just one episode or several. Will they be included in the upcoming storyline for the premiere episode?

Gina Torres, who portrays Paramedic Captain Tommy Vega, gave fans the low down on what’s to come for the beloved team of first responders. The winter premiere will be heavily featuring Tommy, Nancy, and T.K. The plotline of one episode includes the team attempting to rescue a child who fell through the ice. When they realized that the ice was too thin, T.K. offered to step up and attempt to save the boy. But he fell in himself.

With the Season 2 cliffhanger of a divided team because of “budget cuts,” fans are sure to be in for an emotional journey and epic storylines. What are you hoping to see from the 2022 season? Let us know in the comments!

What’s to Come For ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’

9-1-1: Lone Star lead Rob Lowe teased at what’s to come in a new clip. While 9-1-1 ended with a big bang and numerous cliffhangers, this season will already kick off with an intense start.

This season, the stakes are mammoth,” he stated. “The 126 has been completely torn apart. We lead the season off with an ice storm. People fall in the lake. Buildings collapse under the weight of the snow. The show looks like a thrill ride more than ever this year.”

He added, “I take a lot of pride in portraying first responders because they are actual heroes.”

Meanwhile, the characters will be in for new storylines. Actress Sierra McClain recently dove into her character Grace’s new venture into parenthood. This upcoming season will detail more about her new life as a mother. New character developments are on the horizon.

“Judd and Grace find out that they’re going to be new parents. It seems like it’s always one thing after the other,” she explained in a preview. So how will this affect Grace and Judd’s relationship and jobs?

9-1-1: Lone Star will return on Monday, January 3 at 8/7 Central on Fox. The series will take over the original 9-1-1 series’ timeslot as it is on a winter hiatus.
