Adele Buys Sylvester Stallone’s Los Angeles House for a Steal

by Samantha Whidden

Earlier this month, singer and songwriter Adele reportedly purchased Sylvester Stallone’s former Los Angeles house for $58 million. The 30,000-square-foot property originally hit the market for $110 million.

According to TMZ, Sylvester Stallone initially put the property on the market in February 2021 with the asking price of $110 million. But he eventually decided to remove the listing. However, he decided in the summer to relist the property for the $85 million. The property notably has eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It also has three acres of land, which includes a swimming pool, 2-story guest house, gym, and sauna. Stallone purchased the property in the 1990s and described it as “The house that Rocky built.”

Sylvester Stallone’s former home is inside the gated community of Beverly Park. Adele’s new neighbors will include Jon Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, and Howard Stern. The deal is currently in escrow and should close at the end of the month.

The home purchase from Sylvester Stallone comes just a couple of months after Adele released her fourth studio album 30. The album debuts six years after Adele’s third studio album 25. It includes collaborations with  Ludwig Göransson, and Inflo of the English band Sault.

Adele shared that the album’s subject matter centers on her divorce as well as motherhood and scrutiny of fame. The album includes her latest hit single Easy on Me. In the Target and Japanese limited edition bonuses, Adele singes Easy on Me with country sensation Chris Stapleton

‘The Expendables 4’ Star Iko Uwais Talks Working With Sylvester Stallone & Jason Statham

During a recent interview with MovieWeb, Iko Uwais opened up about working with Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham in the upcoming action-packed film The Expendables 4. “Experience is very valuable for me to share a frame with senior players, who have a lot of experience. There are a lot of things that we share, what we think about them, beyond expectations.”

Although the plot for The Expendables 4 is currently unknown, MovieWeb reports that Uwais is going to be playing the “big bad” in the film. He will play a former military officer who has a side gig in arms dealing. This obviously brings Sylver Stallone and the rest of the Expendable crew into the story.

Along with Sylver Stallone and Jason Statham, other familiar faces will be appearing in The Expendables 4. This includes Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, and Terry Crews.

MovieWeb also confirmed that Sylvester Stallone will have just a small role in the upcoming flick. Making Statham the lead.  Stallone recently stated, “This will be my last day. I’m enjoying it. But it’s always bittersweet when something you’ve been so attached to – I guess since, well now it’s been about 12 years – and ready to pass the baton on to Jason in his capable hands.

There is currently no official theatrical release date for The Expendables 4, but IMDb says it’ll be released sometime in 2022.
