‘Alaskan Bush People’ Alum Matt Brown Shows Off Hard Work With Homemade Christmas Tree

by Quentin Blount

One of the former stars on Alaskan Bush People is making sure to do this whole Christmas decoration thing the right way.

If you are a longtime fan of Alaskan Bush People, then you definitely remember Matt Brown. Some of the show’s newer fans, however, might not recognize him since it’s been a while since he’s made an appearance. Matt Brown, however, is the oldest of the seven children between Ami Brown and the late Billy Brown.

Speaking of which, the oldest of the Brown kids has had his name in the headlines over the course of the past year. There is really no question about that. He has aired out the differences that he has with some of his Alaskan Bush People family members. But he isn’t letting those differences become a reason to get down during the holiday season.

As he so often does, Brown took to social media late last week to reveal that he has finally put up his Christmas tree.

“Hi, friends! So, I got my Christmas tree up and decorated. I did all of the decorations myself,” he said.

Not only did Matt Brown decorate his own Christmas tree this year, but he’s also treating himself to some holiday treats.

“I’ve got a nice cup of hot chocolate and vanilla ice cream,” he says in the clip. “It’s amazing — I hit something right on the head with this one. And I’m serving it up in my favorite cup. It says, ‘All things are possible to those who believe. Mark 9:23.”

And for Brown’s Christmas movie of choice? You’ll get a kick out of this one — it’s Lethal Weapon 4.

“For my Christmas movie, I’m watching Lethal Weapon 4,” he admitted with a smile. “I know right? Die Hard 1 might be more appropriate. But like Bruce Willis reminds us, Die Hard is not a Christmas movie. It’s a Bruce Willis movie that takes place on Christmas.”

And when it was all said and done, the former Alaskan Bush People star had a message to all of his fans and followers who have stuck with him through thick and thin.

“It’s been a really good day and an excellent night. I hope everyone is doing good out there. I will be the first to say Merry Christmas. It may be a little early, but I’ll still throw it out there. Remember, never give up and never surrender.”
