Ami Brown’s husband, Billy Brown, passed away earlier this year on February 7. The two were stars of “Alaskan Bush People” a reality television series that follows the Brown family. Billy’s passing has been tough on the family and especially tough on Ami. A recent teaser trailer put out by the Discovery Channel shows an emotional Ami tearing up as she reveals her late husband’s last words. The Discovery Channel put the trailer on their social media accounts for all to see a brief glimpse of upcoming episodes. It is clear in the video that Ami is still grieving over the loss of her husband.

Along with Ami, the trailer shows the reactions of the “Alaskan Bush People” crew to Billy Brown’s death. Each of them are very emotional as they attempt to convert their feelings on the loss of a loved one. With tears streaming from her eyes, Ami reveals Billy last words

“His life was ending. He said I love you,” she says in the clip.

“For a long time we thought just being in the bush was keeping him alive, but I think it was just being with us,” the social media post says. “The new season of ‘Alaskan Bush People,” dedicated to Billy Brown premiers at 8 p.m. Discovery and Discovery Plus.”

‘Alaskan Bush People’ Will Continue Without Billy Brown

A popular show with high rating scores, ‘Alaskan Bush People” appeals to a wide range of people. Billy Brown, the star of the show, was a unique character with a sense of authenticity. He is missed by fans of the show and his loving family. The trailer shows some footage leading up to Brown’s death. In the trailer, other members of the Brown family share their thoughts as well, including Billy’s son, Bear. Fighting back tears, Bear talks about what his father meant to him.

“He was my best friend, my mentor, my hero,” he says in the clip.

Bear Brown also says the newest season of “Alaskan Bush People” will pay tribute to his late father.

Billy Brown was 68-year-old when he suffered a seizure earlier this year that took his life. He did inside his Washington home after medical professionals attempted to save his life with CPR techniques. The Discovery Channel also made a statement shortly after the “Alaskan Bush People” star passed away.

“We are devastated to hear of Billy Brown’s sudden passing,” the statement says. “He has been part of the Discovery family for years – a trailblazer, a lovely man and most definitely one of a kind.”
