Leticia Cline, who is the girlfriend of American Pickers star Mike Wolfe, went on Instagram to share a message about collecting.

Wolfe, obviously, has made a sensational living as a “picker” of antiques and collectibles.

Cline has been following Wolfe’s career, even more so as they are a couple.

We’d like to bring you the image, Outsiders, but it’s part of her Instagram stories.

“Collecting is about preserving history in a world that is desperately trying to re-write it,” Cline writes.

She has been busy with lots of rebuilding projects. In fact, Cline has used her Instagram account in the past to offer pictures and updates. One can expect more of them to pop up as she goes along.

As for American Pickers, it is still on The History Channel with Wolfe and Danielle Colby as co-hosts.

‘American Pickers’ Star Once Pitched A Show Idea With Its Focus on Children

Hey, Outsiders, would you have watched a show called “Kid Pickers”?

Wolfe pitched this idea to History at one time.

It makes sense after knowing that the American Pickers star gets “wheelbarrows full of mail from kids” who love watching him. Kids tune in to see Mike get down and dirty, as in being a mess, for those rare pieces.

What Wolfe wanted to do is have two young hosts on the kid show

That idea, though, remains dormant at this time.

So, apparently, no network wants to do a kids’ show about picking. Still, Wolfe will create literature with that name, “Kid Pickers,” and have that available.

Wolfe said in an interview with  Script that the “Kid Pickers” book will change everything.

“There’s nothing like it out there,” he said. “It teaches children when they find things, they can learn about their family’s history and history in general. It’s teaching them to repurpose and recycle. These kids are even decorating their rooms in vintage.”

Wolfe, Fritz Once Spent A Lot of Money on an Elephant Head at a Taxidermist

Just tune into American Pickers and you will see some of the most amazing things.

One time, Wolfe and former co-hosts Frank Fritz spent some serious coin to procure a large taxidermy elephant head.

So, the guys got a taxidermy collector’s collection. After that, Wolfe and Fritz secured a large muskie and a 10-foot alligator, among other things. All the things that they picked up cost $9,500.

The elephant head was a genuine mount. But those ears and tusks were artificial. It detracts from what the elephant could have initially sold for.

Wild, exotic animals like these remain controversial yet are highly sought-after in the hunting community.

Wolfe now hosts American Pickers without Fritz, who was fired from the show..
