Earlier today, “American Pickers” star Mike Wolfe showed off an awesome pick from last night’s episode that he won’t soon forget.

Wolfe posted a picture of his latest find on his Instagram page. In the post, we see the “American Pickers” host admiring the “vintage” pick that you won’t find at just any antique shop.

“This rare vintage Schmidt Beer lamp was a lucky find,” Wolfe captioned his post.

During the “American Pickers” episode, Wolfe shared a little bit of backstory about why the lamp meant something to him personally.

“This time period is a time period that I remember,” Wolfe shared on the show. “I remember romanticizing about going to the tavern with my grandma and seeing all the lights and everything and I was the youngest person in the bar. The only light is stuff like this [Schmidt lamp] and a pool table light and the neon. And you’re just sitting there and staring at the Schmidt teepee.”

As soon as Wolfe heard the price for the artifact, he said, “I’m doing it. I gotta have it.” The man knows what he wants.

‘American Pickers’ Star Danielle Colby Promises She’s Sticking With the Show

Worry not, “American Pickers” fans. Danielle Colby, one of the stars of the show, doesn’t plan on leaving anytime soon.

Some fans worried about Colby’s ability to juggle multiple projects at once. She’s heavily involved in creating content about burlesque and stripping history. She updates both her Instagram and Patreon page regularly with photos and videos in elaborate outfits.

Earlier this week, the “American Pickers” star posted a video online that addressed fans’ concerns about her balancing her personal interests with the History Channel show. She captioned the post, “I get this question about #americanpickers so much when I talk about #strippinghistory.”

“I just wanna address a question everyone’s been asking me – do I still work on the show,” Colby said in the video. “Yes, I still work on the show, yes, I love my job. Yes, I’m gonna be there for a long time. No, I’m not going anywhere.”

She added, “‘Stripping History’ is a project I’ve been doing for a very long time. It’s just now starting to get some movement and some likes to it. So, yeah, I’m gonna be around. You’re gonna be seeing this face for a while. If you like it, you’re welcome. If you don’t, don’t look.”

The “American Pickers” star thanked fans for looking out for her and ended the video by saying, “Everything is good, and I hope it’s good for you, too.”
