For Outsiders across the country, Betty White’s death came as a tragedy, no matter the cause. Further, we have confirmation from the icon’s agent, Jeff Witjas, that the beloved actress passed peacefully in her sleep. Now, people are wondering whether White’s passing came of further causes. That said, her former agent denies that she passed away due to the COVID-19 booster shot.

According to the Daily Mail, rumors spiked regarding White’s booster shot after her death. Outlets across the internet reported she supposedly stated, “Eat healthy and get all your vaccines. I just got boosted today.”

However, Witjas denies White ever gave the quote, and the sources claiming so removed the rumor from their pages. As to the claim Betty White died from the booster, Witjas said to People, “Betty died peacefully in her sleep at her home. People are saying her death was related to getting a booster shot three days earlier but that is not true.”

Witjas emphasized, “She died of natural causes. Her death should not be politicized – that is not the life she lived.”

Following additional reports, we’ve also learned Betty had been residing at her Los Angeles home due to COVID concerns at the time of her death. However, if she could have, Betty White would have remained in her Carmel, CA home. The actress previously shared the residence with the love of her life, Allen Ludden, before his passing prior to their 18th wedding anniversary.

As per an unnamed source, “She never wanted to leave her home in Carmel, but was forced to for at-home care.” They explained, “Los Angeles was more accessible.”

Betty White Was Loved Beyond Measure

Betty White has become an American icon primarily through her many television and film roles. However, she always remained an adored individual off screens as well. And, in speaking with People, Wtijas strived to ensure that Betty White knew just how much she was loved.

Witjas told People, “Even when she wasn’t working, I said, ‘Betty, millions of people out there are still asking for you. You’re getting your fan letters. I’m getting offers for you.'”

In speaking with the outlet, White’s former agent continued, “I would always reinforce it with her because I always felt she should know that. I never wanted her to think while she was sitting at home, that the world has passed her by. It never did.”

Further, Witjas shared he was glad the 99-year-old American icon was able to achieve all of her ambitions. With her feet planted in a variety of causes, interests, and professional pursuits, there wasn’t a single soul that didn’t recognize her impact.

Because of that, Witjas claimed the adoration with which Betty White grew to have was “beyond love.”

“I hope she knew,” he concluded. “I think she did.”
