Hollywood icon Betty White will be one century old on January 17th. And she’s grateful for her long and happy life.
“[I’m] amazed,” White told ET in an exclusive interview. “No, seriously, I’m the luckiest broad on two feet to be as healthy as I am and to feel as good as I do!”
The five-time Emmy winner has had quite the life in the spotlight. She’s starred in classic sitcoms such as The Golden Girls and The Mary Tyler Moore Show and blockbuster hits like The Proposal and You Again. Betty White even has a Grammy award sitting on her mantel for Best Spoken Word Album.
And during the last couple of decades, White has become America’s Sweetheart. So all of her friends in Tinsel Town are throwing a huge bash to commemorate her 100th trip around the sun.
According to ET, the actress is celebrating her long life with a movie called Betty White: 100 Years Young — A Birthday Celebration.
“Who doesn’t love a party?!?” she asked. “This one is gonna be GREAT!”
In a press release, White shared that the film will showcase her long and prosperous career in the industry. The movie will include interviews, behind-the-scenes footage from her best works, and hilarious clips from over the years.
And of course, some of White’s friends will make an appearance to talk about their time with the legend. Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey, Valerie Bertinelli, and Morgan Freeman are some of the stars you can expect to see.
But unfortunately for White, we won’t be seeing Robert Redford—even though he’s her only birthday wish this year.
Betty White: 100 Years Young — A Birthday Celebration will play in nearly 900 movie theaters throughout the country. However, you can only catch the flick on her birthday (Jan 17th) at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. (local times).

A New Book About Betty White’s Awesomeness Celebrates her 100th Birthday
100 years alive is something to celebrate, and author Ray Richmond agrees. So in honor of Betty White’s birthday next month, he wrote an entire book all about how awesome the actress is.
In the pages of Betty White: 100 Remarkable Moments in an Extraordinary Life, Richmond wrote about her 100 best moments and explained why she’s loved by millions.
And in a recent interview with Variety, he summed up her awesomeness in a single paragraph.
“She’s humble about it all. She doesn’t think she’s all that. That’s attractive to mainstream America, Richmond. “She knows how to measure the room and the mood better than any entertainer I’ve ever seen. And she knows her brand better than anyone. She knows her limits what lines she can cross. She does it with flair and sophistication.”
