It’s not unusual for actors to appear on different TV shows before hitting it big. A star from Big Sky actually worked on CSI.

Who could that be, Outsiders? We will get down to the details with an assist from Looper.

The actress who appeared on CSI way back in their career was Britt Robertson. Back in Season 8 of the CBS series, she played a missing girl-turned-murder victim in the episode Go to Hell.

That episode’s synopsis reads thusly: “The parents of a missing girl are found murdered in a seedy motel room, and a registered sex offender now working as a church pastor is suspected. Meanwhile, Sara tackles a case involving a dead homeless man.” Sara is Sara Sidle, played by Jorja Fox.

‘Big Sky’ Actress Has Lot of Credits For TV, Movie Work To Her Name

This was back in 2007 for Robertson. The actress spent one season on ABC’s Big Sky, playing Cheyenne Kleinsasser.

So, she has a lot of film and TV credits to her name. Besides Big Sky, TV work includes Life Unexpected, Stephen King’s Under the Dome, and ABC’s For the People. As for movies, they include The First Time in 2012, The Longest Ride in 2015, The Space Between Us in 2017, and Books of Blood in 2020.

Robertson is a three-time Teen Choice Award nominee. The Big Sky actress also has a number of film festival awards to her name.

She made a name for herself in the 2007 film Dan in Real Life. Robertson made her TV debut back in 2000 on Sheena. She appears in flashbacks as the childhood version of Sheena, played as an adult by Gena Lee Nolin.

By the way, Outsiders, Big Sky airs on Thursdays at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central.

Katheryn Winnick Discusses What Is Her Favorite Storyline from Season 2

There is a lot of action this season on Big Sky.

With that being the case, then Katheryn Winnick, who plays Jenny Hoyt, what is kicking you as for storylines on the show?

The one with a dose of romance.

“I don’t know if I’d say a scene, but right now I’m discovering Jenny’s relationship with Travis (Stone, played by Logan Marshall-Green) is new and fresh and fun,” Winnick said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “We just did four scenes back to back yesterday, so I think that relationship has a lot of room to grow.

“I also really want to explore that Jenny understands the undercover world,” the Big Sky actress said. “I’m enjoying the show going in this direction, and getting time to sit with them and see Jenny in her real life and not just on the run all the time.”
