Bindi Irwin just shared an adorable new photo with her family. The young conservationist and new mother is all smiles with her husband, Chandler Powell, and her daughter, Grace Warrior. Irwin married Powell last year, and they had their daughter this march.
Powell and Irwin met in their teens when Powell, an American, visited the zoo while on vacation. Now, they’ve made an adorable little family.
“We’ve got those sunshine smiles,” she wrote in the new post.
Irwin is the daughter of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, who tragically passed away in 2006. She and her family now own and operate the Australia Zoo as well as do other conservation work, continuing on Steve’s legacy. On top of the Zoo, the family also helps out with the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve.
Irwin and Powell appear to dote on Grace, and Powell recently spoke up about how much he loves being a dad on Australian Father’s Day.
“Being Grace’s dad is the greatest gift of all,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “Love my girl.” The three recently had a trip to the wildlife reserve, and it appears that they love taking her everywhere they can.
Grace Warrior Watches Her Grandfather on TV
Recently, Bindi Irwin posted a bittersweet photo of Grace Warrior watching Steve Irwin on TV.
“This sweetheart has been watching her ‘Grandpa Crocodile’ on the projector at our camp here on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve I wish with all my heart that Dad could hug my beautiful girl.” she wrote. “She lights up when she sees him on screen. I wish with all my heart that Dad could hug my beautiful girl. It’s been 15 years since he passed away. I hold on to the thought that he’s her guardian angel now, watching over the most special part of my life, Grace Warrior.”
While Steve Irwin may not be here to do so, Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are making sure they’re taking her on plenty of adventures and introducing her to wildlife. They’ve even gone on camping trips.
Bindi Irwin and Her Family Star on ‘Crikey! It’s the Irwins’
The adorable family continues to give fans much-desired updates, but they also have their own TV show. Crikey! It’s the Irwins follows Bindi, her mother Terri, and her brother Robert as they handle day-to-day life at the Australian Zoo. The show also touches on their personal lives.
The show is currently on its third season. They also recently aired a Shark Week episode where Robert travels with conservationists to learn more about sharks before diving with a Great White.
If you want to catch Crikey! It’s the Irwins, the show airs on Animal Planet or you can catch up on Discovery +.
