Bindi Irwin Hopes Your Holiday Season Is ‘Merry and Bright’

by Madison Miller

“Where I live if someone gives you a hug it’s from the heart,” the late conservationist icon Steve Irwin once said.

Not only is his family continuing to follow in his footsteps in terms of conservation and passionate love for the outdoors, but they seem to be just as loving and compassionate. The Irwin family includes his two kids, Bindi and Robert, as well as his wife, Terri.

New additions to the team are Bindi’s husband, Chandler Powell, and their absolutely adorable daughter, Grace Warrior.

Bindi Irwin in the Holiday Spirit

As the holiday season is upon us, the Irwins are sending all the love to their fans. Bindi Irwin shared a photo posing alongside their Christmas tree in the living room while she holds her precious dog in her lap. The caption reads, “Merry and bright.”

The fireplace is decked out in gorgeous holiday decorations and presents are already wrapped and placed underneath the ever-glowing Christmas tree. The only thing missing in the photo is sweet baby Grace, which many of the fans are dying to see.

This isn’t the first time this season that the Irwins have gotten us into the holiday spirit.

The 23-year-old mom shared an absolutely heart-wrenchingly adorable video of Grace Warrior seeing a Christmas tree for the first time. The 8-month-old baby is being held as both Chandler and Bindi walk into the decorated room. At the same time, Michael Bublé’s “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” is playing in the background.

The baby proceeds to smile and stare at the Christmas tree. She even reaches out to touch the tree. “Grace woke up to her very first Christmas tree in our house. I’m crying tears of happiness as I write this,” Irwin wrote on the post.

It all just makes us want to pack a bag and go visit the Australian Zoo. It would be the best way to potentially spot the Irwin family, after all.

Bindi Irwin and Brother Robert

Not only does Bindi Irwin share snapshots of her life as a wife, mom, and conservationist, but she’s also incredibly close to her brother and mother. This is evident if you’ve ever seen an episode of “Crikey, It’s the Irwins.”

On December 1, Robert Irwin celebrated with an 18th birthday party at the Australia Zoo. Bindi gave a shoutout to her brother on Instagram, writing, “happy 18th to the very best. This year you’ve been promoted to uncle and taken on the world. I can’t wait to see what incredible adventures are on the horizon for you. I’ll always, always be here for you (with a fully stocked fridge). Love you.”

Robert replied, “Thank you B! Love you (and your fully stocked fridge) so much.”

Robert also spent the day doing some of the things he loves most — feeding crocodiles and hanging out at the zoo.
