You can always count on Bindi Irwin to share something extraordinary on her Instagram page. Whether it’s an adorable snap of her daughter Grace Warrior, or a cute koala, or a video of amazing mountain views, she always delivers.

Her latest post is no exception. Bindi recently posted a throwback photo of her and husband Chandler Powell at some cliffs overlooking the bluest waters I’ve ever laid eyes upon. The sky just melts into the sea, and Bindi and Chandler are all smiles as they pose before the breathtaking view.

“One year ago,” Bindi captioned her photo, including a heart emoji and tagging her husband. The pair have their second wedding anniversary coming in the new year, in March, which will coincide with Grace’s first birthday. My big question is will there be animals at her birthday party, to which the answer is, of course, there will be, this is an Irwin baby we’re talking about here.

Speaking of Irwin babies, Bindi and her brother Robert are back again with their mom Terri for season 4 of “Crikey! It’s the Irwins”! The new season premieres on Animal Planet on Jan. 1, so it’ll be a nice treat to ring in the new year with.

The season opens with a special titled “Crikey! It’s a Baby!” This season’s special focuses on Bindi Irwin’s pregnancy and Grace Warrior’s birth.

What to Expect from Bindi Irwin and Family on ‘Crikey! It’s the Irwins’ New Season

We have a few tidbits of what we can expect from Bindi Irwin and her family in the special, as well as the rest of the season. First, Terri throws a baby shower for Bindi; Chandler meets her at the Wildlife Hospital on her last day for an “emotional surprise”; Robert prepares to be christened the fun uncle – or, “Funcle”; then, when Bindi gives birth, they all come home to the Australia Zoo to introduce the new little one.

I’m sure there’s going to be much more along with all that. As for the rest of the season, some things we can expect are a 10 gator move from Gator Lake, probably the biggest they’ve ever done; Talbert the giraffe, a new calf at the zoo; Terri helping the Sumatran elephants get used to a walkway system that lets them explore the zoo; Robert and Chandler going on a road trip to pick up a giant Komodo dragon; and plenty of baby animals: echidnas, koalas, and possums, oh my!

We’ll also get to see Grace exploring her new world from her birth all the way to now. The previous season gave us a look into how the zoo adapted to the COVID-19 shutdowns, and how they adapted their animal care and everyday routines. Now that things are (semi) back to normal, we’ll get to see the Irwins doing what they do best; caring for animals.
