Bindi Irwin Wishes Husband Happy Birthday With Adorable Family Beach Photo

Bindi Irwin is thrilled to be celebrating another one of her loving husband’s birthdays. Today, Chandler Powell turned 25 years old, and his wife celebrated the milestone with a precious photo of their family during one of their many beach adventures. Of course, featured in the photo was their darling daughter Grace Warrior, who recently turned seven months old.

“Happy Birthday, sweetheart! Eight years of falling more in love with you every day,” Bindi Irwin penned in the caption. “My best friend, adventurer, husband, and the greatest Dadda to our Grace Warrior. You embrace every day with a determination that I admire. You carry kindness and sunshine in your heart, no matter the challenge.”

She continued, “You walk through life with strength and give your time to anyone who needs a helping hand. You make our little family smile all the time and you remind me daily to take a breath and appreciate the now. Plus, your smile always makes my heart skip a beat. You’re the very best, babe. I love you. Forever and forever.”

Irwin and Powell tied the knot just last year, but they’ve been together for eight years. Besides Grace, they also have two furbabies at home, a pug named Stella and a cavalier King Charles spaniel named Piggy.

Bindi Irwin and Australia Zoo Staff Members Prepare for Steve Irwin Day

Powell’s birthday isn’t the only big event that occurs in November. Earlier this week, Bindi Irwin posted a clip that announced that the Australia Zoo (and likely the whole world) would be recognizing November 15 as Steve Irwin Day. In memory of the beloved wildlife conservationist and advocate, the zoo staff shared what it meant to have the honor of wearing khaki.

During the interview, Bindi Irwin revealed that to her, wearing khaki symbolized family.

“For me, khaki means family because that’s always been our color, our uniform of choice.” Irwin shared. “And I have grown up wearing khaki as Grace will, too.”

Meanwhile, her husband felt that the signature color symbolized legacy.

“This was what Steve wore,” Powell shared. “It’s what our Australia Zoo uniforms are modeled after, and when you see khaki, you immediately think Steve and his legacy.”

Of course, these three aren’t the only family members at the zoo that wear khaki. Also rocking the classic color is Irwin’s twin brother, Robert. He was just as proud to wear his father’s color.

“Being in khaki means representing all things Wildlife Warrior,” Robert explained. “We always say it, khaki is not just a color, it’s an attitude.”
