‘Blue Bloods’: Abigail Hawk Doesn’t Have Much to Say About Work with Donnie Wahlberg

It’s no doubt that at the center of the hit CBS police procedural series, Blue Bloods sits the Reagan family. Headed by the current Reagan family patriarch Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), the family includes Frank’s father, Henry Reagan (Len Cariou), and Frank’s children. Each member of the Reagan family has long been involved in New York City law enforcement.

Sure, the Reagans are certainly core to much of the Blue Bloods storylines. However, the members of the Reagan family are certainly not the only players in the mix on the popular drama.

One Blue Bloods star recently revealed that some characters on the popular series don’t often cross paths with many members of the Reagan family throughout the drama’s run.

“Everybody’s like, ‘What’s it like working with Donnie?'” says Blue Bloods star Abigail Hawk in an interview. The star goes on to explain how rare it is to see her Blue Bloods character and Donnie Wahlberg’s sharing the television screen.

“And I never seen him,” continues the actress who portrays Abigail Baker, Frank Reagan’s top assistant on the hit series.

‘Blue Bloods’ Actress Likes To Treat Her Castmates

Hawk’s Abigail Baker may not be sharing screentime with Donnie Wahlberg’s Blue Bloods character Danny Reagan. However, they do catch each other behind the scenes when they can.

Especially, the Blue Bloods actress notes, during the special holidays.

“Like I see him during Christmas time when I deliver my chocolate chip cookies to him,” Hawk says in a recent interview with Pop Culture.

The Blue Bloods actress goes on to note that she does know her fellow Blue Bloods player well enough to know he appreciates the gift.

“He seems to like those,” the actress says.

Abigail Hawk goes on to say that her character doesn’t usually have much of a reason to pair up with any of the characters in Danny Reagan’s world. Well, aside from Frank, of course. However, the star says, she would love to see a unique partnering change in an upcoming Blue Bloods episode.

A Unique Team

Hawk takes this idea an extra mile by suggesting the storyline could follow the “non-Reagan” girls. Sort of a team-up of those who deal with the Reagan men daily.

“I would absolutely love to do like if Baker and Baez got a nice team up,” Hawk says in the interview.

“That would be amazing or even throw Eddie in there,” Abigail Hawk adds of the “non-Reagan girls” dream team. “Just have the three non-Reagan girls just go.”

“I mean, that would be a dream,” the actress quips. “An absolute dream to get those two.”
