If you watch Blue Bloods, then you know Danny Reagan and Maria Baez pride themselves on doing good work. That goes bye-bye on Friday.

The NYPD detectives are busy in this week’s episode but not always in the good, orderly police officer kind of way.

So, the CBS police drama’s Twitter account gives us some information about what Danny, played by Donnie Wahlberg, and Baez, played by Marisa Ramirez, did.

This Friday’s episode is titled Firewall. FYI, spoilers coming up here.

A synopsis of the episode reads like this: “A cyber-attack on the NYPD forces Danny and Baez to release an evasive suspect; Baez questions her place within the NYPD; Eddie is torn over a workplace dilemma; Jamie wrestles with a family secret.”

Another storyline appearing on tonight’s Blue Bloods episode involves Jamie and Henry. In the episode, Jamie, played by Will Estes, rushes into the kitchen when he smells smoke. It turns out that Henry Reagan, played by Len Cariou, left a burner on the stove on and it caught fire.

Quick thinking by Jamie to open up a window and grab something to stamp out the fire probably saved the home from serious damage.

Is Eddie still going on about her new partner on the force? Well, Jamie’s wife, played by Vanessa Ray, is definitely in no mood to haggle about her new partner anymore.

Outsiders, you will just have to tune into Blue Bloods tonight at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on CBS. See what goes down in these storylines.

‘Blue Bloods’ Star Marisa Ramirez Said She Pretty Much Came Into Role ‘Blind’

Ramirez was not supposed to have a long run as Baez on Blue Bloods.

From her view, she started playing the NYPD detective and went into it “blind.”

All the show’s writers had was a five-episode arc for Baez. Shows how much they know as Ramirez has been on the CBS police drama since 2013.

When asked about her character at that time, Ramirez just didn’t know a lot.

“Honestly, I have no idea because when I first came on they never really gave me the backstory,” Ramirez said in an interview with TV Fanatic. “I think they didn’t even know if they were going to have me back for more. All I know is there is a history between Maria and Danny.”

Now, they do have a history but what is it? The NYPD detectives have known one another for 10 years, Ramirez said. Also, Baez is single, from New York, and solves crimes.

Tune in on Friday nights at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on CBS to see how she and Wahlberg work together as a part of the NYPD.
