‘Blue Bloods’: Erin Reagan Faces a Tense Conflict

by Joe Rutland

It’s about to get hot on Blue Bloods as Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan is reaching her boiling point with her boss.

Reagan, played by Bridget Moynahan, is about ready to give the D.A. some chatter.

We’ll get down to the bottom of it, Outsiders, with an assist from Matt & Jess.

Erin Reagan is going to find herself in a tough spot. It might look like she was trying to make an enemy out of D.A. Kimberly Crawford, played by Roslyn Ruff.

But she really was trying to do what she thought was right. Yet it looked like Erin only was thinking about what was best from her perspective. That’s not always going to work out for another person.

D.A. on ‘Blue Bloods’ Thinks Erin Reagan is Looking To Take Her Down

Crawford makes assumptions that, on some level, Reagan is looking to take her down so Erin boosts her career.

Of course, that’s especially the case when Erin is thinking about running for the Manhattan DA’s spot.

The relationship these two have on Blue Bloods looks like it is beyond repair.

Even on the upcoming episode, Erin notes Crawford is giving her low-level cases. It is way, way below Erin’s pay level.

Who knows? But this might give Erin the impetus to run for DA.

Well, Outsiders, we’ll have to wait and see what happens here.

It would be great if Erin makes a decision before this season ends. That would really set up Blue Bloods for next season and give writers plenty of time to kick that storyline into high gear. Oh, and imagine seeing Erin involved in more politics than she’s used to in her career.

Bridget Moynahan Has Been Thinking About Career After CBS Police Show

Moynahan is no Blue Bloods-come-lately actress. Hardly!

She’s appeared in the movie Coyote Ugly as well as playing the divorced wife of Mr. Big on HBO’s Sex and the City.

Still, she has been playing Erin Reagan since the CBS police show joined the network’s primetime lineup.

What’s next after the drama ends?

Yahoo! Life managed to ask Moynahan about it.

“Every time I see a show like Mare of Easttown or Handmaid’s Tale, I think, God there’s such incredible work out there, such incredible opportunities and such great writing for women,” Moynahan said. “So because of that, I feel that next step will open its doors when this wraps, whenever that may be.” outlet.

In case you didn’t know, then Moynahan ended up on Blue Bloods thanks to Donnie Wahlberg.

Wahlberg had read through the first script and thought Moynahan would fit the Erin role.

He ends up calling her. As it turns out, the role and actress fit together nicely.
