Apparently, Outsiders, there are some fans who watch “Blue Bloods” religiously that want a crossover episode with another CBS show, “FBI.”

Who are these people? Well, they perked up about the possibility in a Reddit thread.

Fan raknor88 started it off on “One thing I’d love to see, a case crossover between Blue Bloods and FBI.”

The Redditor wrote, “I love both shows and I’d love to see a crossover or even cameo appearances at least once a season or so. Majority of FBI’s cases take place or at least start in New York City, so if nothing else you’d think that Frank would be taking a call every now and again [from] the head of the NY FBI office. Or maybe Danny and Baez catch a case and it ends up being too big for them and it gets passed up to the FBI.”

Frank refers to NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan, played by Tom Selleck on “Blue Bloods.” Danny refers to Detective Danny Reagan, played by Donnie Wahlberg, and Baez is Detective Maria Baez, played by Marisa Ramirez.

‘Blue Bloods’ Fan Says ‘FBI’ Crossover Also Could Put ‘Law & Order’ Universe In Play

OK, so this Redditor also said they know that shows have different tones, so full crossovers probably would not work. Maybe there could be little cameo appearances occasionally on both shows.

TalesToAstonish replied, “So, if they crossed over with FBI, that’d put it in the Law and Order universe. FBI had a guest appearance by Detective Upton from Chicago PD, which has had multiple crossovers with SVU. That would make Commissioner Reagan the boss of the likes of Olivia Benson, Elliot Stabler, etc.”

Since that’s the case, if the shows did enter the “Law & Order” world, then it would be cross-network deals as “Chicago P.D.” is on NBC.

All this talk, though, led Redditor hu_gnew to simply state their plea with a one-word response.

“No.”

OK. Well, these fans have spoken. They’ll be tuned in to see “Blue Bloods” on CBS at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on Friday nights. “FBI” is part of a franchise block from Wolf also on CBS.

Vanessa Ray Tosses Up Kudos Toward Tom Selleck As Part Of CBS Police Drama

Vanessa Ray of “Blue Bloods” feels quite grateful, Outsiders, for having someone like Selleck around on the set.

Ray, who plays Officer Eddie Janko-Reagan on the show, said in an interview that Selleck helps her with his advice and support.

She said Tom Selleck is “like a genius, brilliant human being, who I’m so lucky to even get to be around.”

Those words came to her during 2014 in an interview with Niagra Frontier Publications.
