With all the holiday action happening right now, it’s fair to ask if Blue Bloods will have a new episode for fans on Friday night?

The short, direct answer is yes.

Let’s get a little information for you Blue Bloods fans, Outsiders. And yes, this is where some spoilers are going to be dropped. If you don’t want to know, then just get ready for an episode filled with action.

Blue Bloods puts Retired NYPD Commissioner Henry Reagan, played by Len Cariou, in the spotlight. Or one of them, at least.

Also, Detectives Danny Reagan and Maria Baez, played by Donnie Wahlberg and Marisa Ramirez, have their hands full as they accidentally let a suspect go.

‘Blue Bloods’ Episode Shows Jamie Saving Home From Fire With Henry Nearby

OK, so let’s take a look at this episode titled Firewall. Detective Jamie Reagan, played by Will Estes, is shown in one of the show’s trailers running into the kitchen. A fire has broken out at the stove, so Jamie starts working to put the fire out and opens a window.

Henry follows close behind, but what damage there can be has been done.

Here is a synopsis to check out. “A cyber-attack on the NYPD forces Danny and Baez to release an evasive suspect; Baez questions her place within the NYPD; Eddie is torn over a workplace dilemma; Jamie wrestles with a family secret.”

Outsiders, we’ve highlighted Danny, Baez, and Jamie.

Oh yeah, Eddie. Well, Eddie, played by Vanessa Ray, has been having a tough go with her new partner. Last week, she even called it “torture” dealing with Luis Badillo, played by Ian Quinlan.

Blue Bloods stars Tom Selleck as NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan. This final original episode of 2021 might be one for the show’s history books.

Catch it on Friday night at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on CBS.

Erin Reagan Might Still Be Wondering About Her Political Future

One person we did not bring up, Outsiders, is Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan, played by Bridget Moynahan.

In recent weeks, the Blue Bloods character has been going back and forth about running for the Manhattan district attorney job.

So, it seems like this Friday’s episode will not take up any new news with Erin.

Recently, though, viewers have seen Erin all in her friend Lisa Farragut, played by Kelli O’Hara, for some deep evaluation work.

Erin wanted Lisa to check out anything that might impede her run for public office.

What Lisa found, though, did leave Erin things to ponder.

Reagan’s old-school workaholic nature leaves her unable to connect with questions about her personal life. Still, the decision viewers may have thought was final is not there right now.
