With Halloween right around the corner, “Blue Bloods” star Marisa Ramirez decided to share a photo with her many followers from her youth.

Ramirez, who plays Detective Maria Baez on the CBS police drama, took to Instagram with the flashback to an earlier time.

Take a look at what she posted on Friday.

Along with the photo, Ramirez wrote, “#flashbackfriday A foil star princess? I have no idea but I remember helping with the foil! What we did before Amazon #crafty #readyforhalloween #morecandyplease”.

She’s been a part of “Blue Bloods” since the show’s third season. Ramirez finds herself paired up with Donnie Wahlberg, who plays Detective Danny Reagan.

While Friday’s episode was a rerun, catch a new one next week on Friday at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on CBS.

‘Blue Bloods’ Star Had Quite A Job Before She Became Famous on TV

Actors have quite a few stories about what types of jobs they had before reaching stardom.

Marisa Ramirez is no different.

Would you believe the “Blue Bloods” star was active in kickboxing? It’s true. She talked with PopCulture about her career and tough-woman sports participation.

Ramirez said she’s been taking kickboxing classes for six years and has done it during her lifetime.

The “Blue Bloods” actress said there’s always been a kind of “bossy quality, strength, power, woman-of-power sort of thing.”

“Maybe I just like to yell at people,” Ramirez said, “and maybe I was good at that.”

Her career started cooking as a model. Ramirez also hosted some shows for MTV.

Television came along and she popped up on “General Hospital,” “The Young and the Restless,” and others.

Her roles, though, started getting a little tougher with police-related roles.

Marisa Ramirez Developed Independent Streak Early In Her Life

Ramirez discussed pieces of her life in a 2011 interview with Club Planet.

When she did the interview, Ramirez was starring alongside “Zena: Warrior Princess” star Lucy Lawless in “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.” She joined “Blue Bloods” in 2013.

Her birthday is on Sept. 15, 1977. Ramirez’s acting career dates back to the 1990s.

“I am Mexican, American Indian, and Irish,” she said. “I was born and raised in East LA. … was shy, but my mom took me to an audition at age five. … freaked out. (And) didn’t want any part of it at all.”

Being so shy, how did her modeling career begin? Ramirez tells the story.

The actress said when she was 12, “Somebody approached me in the mall and said I should model and gave me their card.”

From that day forward, Ramirez has worked as a model. That is, until “Blue Bloods” came along.
