Last Friday night, Blue Bloods introduced a newcomer to Frank Reagan’s dream team. So, who is this actress playing Angela Riddick?

Let’s take a look, Outsiders. IMDb informs us that she’s Ilfanesh Hadera. She attended the Harlem School of the Arts in New York City. Then Hadera moved on to attend the Fiorello H. LaGuardia School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She would get an MFA in Text and Performance Studies from RADA/King’s College London.

Before Blue Bloods, Hadera appeared in a number of TV shows and movies. They included 1/20, Da Brick, The Blacklist, Old Boy, Show Me a Hero, Chicago Fire, and She’s Gotta Have It. In 2017, she played Stephanie Holden in the film Baywatch that starred Dwayne Johnson.

Her turn on the CBS police drama definitely caught some of that show’s fans’ eyes. Let’s take a look at a couple of entries from her Instagram account.

Hadera made her debut as Detective Angela Reddick, who took up Frank’s offer for a new assignment.

Yes, she joined the three other members of the NYPD Commissioner’s dream team. It was Frank’s idea but Gormley, Garrett, and Baker didn’t feel too comfy at all. Robert Clohessy, Gregory Jbara, and Abigail Hawk are the actors who fill those roles.

At the end of last Friday’s Blue Bloods episode, Frank handed Reddick her transfer papers. For now, she’s off to another assignment.

‘Blue Bloods’ Star Will Estes Had Tough Time Getting Part On Show

Will Estes has been a part of Blue Bloods since its first season on CBS.

While others may have had an easy journey to joining the show, Estes didn’t have smooth sailing himself.

He talked about the journey in a 2019 interview with Watch Magazine.

The Blue Bloods actor, who plays Jamie Reagan on the show, had to audition several times before he was chosen.

Estes said that “I auditioned for what felt like 11 times, but it was actually just four.”

The actor read the script for Blue Bloods and Will Estes knew he wanted to be on the show.

“I remember the script was my favorite thing I’d read all year,” Estes said.

In the meantime, those auditions happened at a time Estes really needed a job.

“I don’t think I ever told anyone this, but I was totally broke,” he shared. “After reading with Leonard (Goldberg, Blue Bloods’ executive producer), I remember he said, ‘I believed you.’ That was an endearing vote of confidence.” These days, Jamie is married to Eddie Janko-Reagan, played by Vanessa Ray on the show.
