If you like Blue Bloods when things get dicey, then you will love this teaser ahead of Friday night’s episode on CBS.

This Season 12, Episode 6 is titled “Be Smart Or Be Dead.”

Oh boy, that sounds like a recipe for destruction.

Well, the CBS police drama released this teaser to its Instagram account on Friday.

As you can tell by the picture, that’s Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan, played by Bridget Moynahan.

This episode’s teaser information was released earlier this week.

(Spoiler Alert: The following contains information about the episode on Friday, Nov. 12. Fair warning!)

What’s going down on Blue Bloods on Friday night?

NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan, played by Tom Selleck, causes family tension when he assigns Jamie, played by Will Estes, to guard Danny, played by Donnie Wahlberg, after a hit is put on him.

Frank tries to stop his cop grandson Joe Hill, played by Will Hochman, from seeking revenge after he’s attacked.

Meanwhile, after her partner leaves the police force, Eddie, played by Vanessa Ray, gets a hostile new partner. Erin’s moral character is attacked by the defense when she tries an old murder case related to her boss, District Attorney Kimberly Crawford, played by Roslyn Ruff.

Sounds like one whale of an episode, Blue Bloods fans.

Catch it at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on CBS.

‘Blue Bloods’ Star Will Estes Gives A Little Info On How Eddie’s Dealing with New Partner

While all of that drama is going on around Danny and Jamie, along with Joe Hill, Blue Bloods offers up Eddie dealing with a new partner.

Last week, Eddie’s old partner resigned. Therefore, she has a new partner to work with on the force.

How is it working out?

Estes chats with TVLine about the duo. The actor says that Jamie Reagan “thought they would complement each other, but they’re like oil and water. Later, that will come to a head.”

Also, as you read above, Jamie gets to play protector for brother Danny.

Um, how do you think that works out?

Estes told TVLine, “As you can imagine, it goes over like a lead balloon with Danny that Jamie’s going to be his ‘handler.’

“Danny doesn’t take orders so well, and Jamie is just trying to make the best of it,” he said. “There is real danger.”

You bet there is when a gang member puts a hit out on Danny’s head.

Estes has been on the CBS police drama since its first season. The same can be said for Selleck, Wahlberg, Moynahan, and Len Cariou, who plays Retired NYPD Commissioner Henry Reagan.
