Tributes have been pouring in for Betty White, who died on New Year’s Eve at 99. Blue Bloods star Bridget Moynahan offers her own message.

Moynahan, who plays Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan on the CBS police drama, went to Twitter on Friday and posted this remembrance of the multitalented actress and animal advocate.

Well, Outsiders, some of us may not think that this is a bad idea. After all, what would it hurt to have one day a year set aside to remember a lady like Betty White?

Here’s the inside scoop, though. It’s probably not going to happen because of that little thing called New Year’s Eve.

Betty White Message From ‘Blue Bloods’ Star Gets Solid Responses

What did some fans think of the Blue Bloods star’s tribute and message?

One writes, “Your positivity is why I love you, B. What a sweet idea.”

This fan has a sentiment: “We lost a great woman, Betty White was loved by all. Rest in Peace sweet lady.”

Then, another fan has this thought: “I like that idea…Rest In Peace Queen Betty”.

Finally, there is this message: “She is going to be missed so much and yes we all can celebrate her life tonight! Let all of us honour her life tonight!”.

Television Star Was A Part of Medium From Golden Age To Today

Betty White was a part of television from its Golden Age all the way through this decade. Her smile, warmth, and caring nature were magnets to her personality. There will never be another person or actress like her ever again.

Moynahan’s message is truly touching for those fans of White’s work. And, well, who really wasn’t a fan after all these years?

Her time on shows like The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Hot in Cleveland, The Golden Girls, and many others will never be forgotten. White never remarried after her husband, famed game-show host Allen Ludden from Password, died of cancer in 1981.

One time, Betty White talked about her secret to a long life.

The actress-activist left fans a lot of inspiration and wisdom. White just said that the key to her long, fruitful life is found in positivity and hot dogs.

This is probably truer of her than other actors. It would be hard to remember a time when she said anything negative about anyone. This is an amazing quality to have after such an incredible life. But think of those scenes where she played different characters. Look at her numerous appearances on game shows, such as Password with her beloved Allen or Match Game. She always brought humor and fun to the table.
