‘Blue Bloods’ Star Bridget Moynahan Shares Daily Inspirational Words of Wisdom

by Amy Myers

“Be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people,” Blue Bloods star Bridget Moynahan advised her Twitter followers. The actress’ words are just one example of the positivity and goodness that she tries to spread with her fans.

Fans chimed in on the Blue Bloods star’s inspiring words, both commending her for her perspective and vowing to adopt the same outlook.

“I try to be every day. There’s too much darkness in this world and not enough light,” one fan wrote.

“Amen,” another concurred.

Besides her work as Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan, Moynahan is a humanitarian that devotes much of her spare time to multiple causes. Most recently, the Blue Bloods star has advocated for the victims of a condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a group of rare genetic disorders that cause the skin to become extremely fragile. Any trauma can cause painful blisters to form.

In order to support the cause, Moynahan shared a GIF of herself with a bottle of ONEHOPE wine which benefits the EB Medical Research Foundation.

“Bring some holiday cheer and do good with my curated collection of @ONEHOPEWINE to benefit my friends #ebmrf,” the Blue Bloods star excitedly tweeted. “Together we can help fund a cure for this rare and painful disorder. Let’s raise a glass and raise some money!”

‘Blue Bloods’ Star Gets Fans Excited for New Season

Of course, another part of Bridget Moynahan’s spare time is spent waiting for the next episode of Blue Bloods. Much like her platform on Twitter, the show offers plenty of moments of positivity and wisdom while also bringing light to important issues. Like so many of the show’s fans, one of Moynahan’s favorite parts of the series is the dinner table scenes.

Ahead of a recent episode, the Blue Bloods star shared a clip from the dinner scene in which the Reagan’s find out that Eddie’s father is out of prison and living with her and Jamie.

While discussing their priest’s sermon from earlier that morning, Jamie shared that he resonated with the feeling of betrayal from someone close to him. Seated beside him, Eddie knew exactly what he was referring to. Earlier in the episode, the fellow NYPD officer allowed her felon father to stay with them. Supposedly, he was looking for a new place to stay. While Eddie felt sure that her father was turning over a new leaf, Jamie wasn’t so sure.

Despite his son’s reservations, Frank Reagan assured the couple that family was always welcome at the dinner table. Feeling a tinge of guilt, the couple considered whether they should have extended the invitation. Meanwhile, brother Danny encouraged the presence of “sinners” at the Blue Bloods table in favor of better stories and jokes.
