This time of year is full of traditions and happy pastimes. Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg celebrates the holiday by watching a time-honored Christmas classic.
Few shows are more of a must-watch every year than Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Thankfully, the Danny Reagan actor agrees. When it comes to the 1964 classic, the actor says that he knows every single word. That’s right, not just the songs, but the dialogue and everything.
With that in mind, perhaps we can get a Donnie Wahlberg rendition of the classic stop motion television special. I mean, he knows a few people that can sing and do voice acting. During an interview with CBS New York back in 2015, the actor admitted he knew all the parts. Including when Hermey the elf reveals that he wants to be a dentist along with the reaction that his boss has to the news.
Rudolph is one of those simple pleasures during the holidays. We all grew up singing the song, and most of us likely grew up watching the holiday special. Blue Bloods‘ Donnie Wahlberg shares in that tradition and is rather enthusiastic about the whole thing. At this point, the show has been a piece of Americana for decades.
It seems that the Wahlberg household is ready for the holiday this year as well with their perfectly put-together Christmas tree.
Wahlberg Family Christmas Tree Looks Great in Video
Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg is, of course, married to Jenny McCarthy. They have a 19-year-old son Evan, and right now, they are getting ready for the holidays. While doing a little gift-wrapping/advertisement for Dunkin (Shouldn’t the Wahlbergs be like, official mascots?), we got to see the tree.
Outside of the hilarious and speedy video that McCarthy shared, we got to take a look at the decorations in the house. The Christmas tree looks like it was decorated with care in hopes that…a peppermint mocha latte would soon be there? I don’t know about all of that, but I did enjoy seeing a little glimpse at the holidays around the Wahlberg/McCarthy household.
‘Blue Bloods’ On Hold for the Holidays
Right now, Blue Bloods fans are in a state of limbo. While the holidays are a good distraction from the fact their favorite show isn’t airing new episodes at the moment, fans are still waiting somewhat nervously. The Reagan family has a lot going on, and there is a lot to resolve this season.
While fans wait for the next Reagan family dinner, there have been many that turned to Reddit. That is the place where fans can ask questions among themselves and test out their theories. There has been a lot of activity as Blue Bloods sits on hiatus.
