Anyone who follows Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg on social media knows he loves sending out warm thoughts to his fans.

Wahlberg, who plays Detective Danny Reagan on the CBS drama, did just that on Friday, New Year’s Eve.

Outsiders, let’s take a look and see what he says to his followers on Instagram.

If you are new to his messages, then here are a couple of notes to remember. The NKOTB letters on the heart reflect love from New Kids on the Block, which is the band he has been a part of for years.

‘Blue Bloods’ Star Has Been On Show Since Its First Season on CBS

That hashtag for BHLove stands for Blockhead Love. Blockheads is the term used for fans of the band, as well as of him, too.

Donnie Wahlberg has been on Blue Bloods since Season 1, Episode 1. Through his influence or pull, depending upon what you want to call it, he was able to get Bridget Moynahan on the show, too.

He’s married to actress/talk-show host Jenny McCarthy and splits his time between living in the Chicago area and New York City. Wahlberg lives in The Big Apple because Blue Bloods is filmed there.

As for his Danny Reagan character, he is going to have to get used to having his partner, Detective Maria Baez, played by Marisa Ramirez, heal from getting shot.

Blue Bloods has been off from airing new episodes since December. That all changes, though, when a new episode drops next Friday, Jan. 7, at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central on CBS.

The episode is titled Old Friends.

(Attention: Spoilers are in here)

Here’s a synopsis: “An illegal drug shipment arriving in New York City forces Danny to partner up with his Texas Ranger associate, Major Waylon Gates, played by Lyle Lovett, to find the narcotics before they flood the streets. Also, Jamie Reagan, played by Will Estes, makes a concerning discovery about a former mentor as he helps a neighbor handle a gambling debt, and Frank Reagan, played by Tom Selleck receives pushback from Mayor Chase over his handling of a brawl between demonstrators and police officers at a protest.”

Wahlberg Is All Set With Response For Fans Wanting Him, Baez Together

As you might know, seeing Danny and Baez work together leads some viewers to want them closer.

Like in a romantic relationship with one another.

Um, what say you, Donnie Wahlberg? His reply comes in the form of a tweet: “They already are. Partners for life!”

And, just like a Scooby-Doo mystery, that wraps up another case for the Blue Bloods star.
