Actress Sami Gayle is still known by fans of Blue Bloods as Nicky Reagan-Boyle. She hasn’t been on lately, but the actress stays busy.

Gayle does stay busy, though, and shares photos from her everyday life on Instagram.

For instance, take a look at what the Blue Bloods actress shared this weekend.

While she’s sending out platitudes about Paris, her fans were commenting about this latest photo.

One fan asked, “Aww beautiful! Is that a @stephaniegottlieb hat??”

Gayle replies, “@21misspony Yes, the collab with @carolyn_rowan!” To which the fan writes, “
@samigayle yes! It’s so pretty!”

Another fan writes, “So cute on you!!!! Have the best time!”

Outsiders, we don’t know when Gayle will come back to Blue Bloods. But we do know that you can watch an episode this Friday at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on CBS.

You may be asking when was the last time Gayle appeared on the show?

She’s been in more than 200 episodes since joining the show in 2010, per IMDb. The last time Nicky showed up was in 2020 for Atonement.

‘Blue Bloods’ Actress Points Out What She, Character Have In Common

Sami Gayle does have a few things in common with Nicky on Blue Bloods.

For instance, she is the well-dressed, well-educated daughter of Erin Reagan, Manhattan’s assistant district attorney. Bridget Moynahan plays Erin in the CBS police drama.

Nicky, though, shows a measured level of maturity than most kids who are her age.

Gayle can admit the same thing, too. All of her clothes and personality show a level of sophistication.

Additionally, Gayle and Nicky both attended Columbia University.

Gayle Definitely Manages To Make Sleep Priority While Going To School, Work

The actress was doing a movie for Netflix called Candy Jar at one time while appearing on Blue Bloods. Her schedule would take her to Altnat for the movie, then back to New York City for the police drama.

How did she do it all? Heck, the actress was studying lines while getting ready for midterm exams.

One thing Gayle pointed out was that she needed her sleep.

“I would sleep anywhere, whenever I could, and I made sure I got eight hours,” Gayle told Hollywood Life. She said that even on Sunday, “when I was traveling, it was divided throughout the day, I always had eight hours of sleep.”

Now, this means catching a few Z’s wherever possible–the plane, between scenes, you name it.

She says, “You can’t function without it!”
