How about some Blue Bloods brotherly love Outsiders? Will Estes is pouring out respect toward castmate Donnie Wahlberg.

So, in case you don’t know, Estes plays Jamie Reagan while Wahlberg plays Danny Reagan on the CBS police drama.

Let’s see what is going down in an article from Looper. Estes is asked about Wahlberg’s fans, whether from his “New Kids on the Block” days or Blue Bloods.

“They’ll show up at the crack of dawn in a crowd and wait half a day, a full day, just to see him and say hi,” Estes said. “And Donnie is something that I’ve never seen before and experienced.

“He just completely engages with people,” he said. “It’s really incredible. I almost didn’t know you could do that before I saw Donnie do it. But, you know, he’ll go out and talk to people and he’s friends with them and he’s one of the most engaging people I’ve ever seen with his fans.”

Estes, Wahlberg, and the Blue Bloods cast return with a new episode this Friday at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on CBS.

‘Blue Bloods’ Star Talks About How He, Character Both Grew As Rookies

On Blue BloodsWill Estes, of course, plays New York Police Department officer Jamie Reagan.

Estes has been a part of the show for all its seasons since 2010.

The show is in the midst of its 12th season and Blue Bloods shows no signs of slowing down.

Estes opened up in an interview with The Nerds of Color about his role.

When asked what intrigued him about the show, he said, “Blue Bloods was the best script I had read in a long time, certainly that entire pilot season. It was created by the late Mr. Leonard Goldberg, Mitch Burgess, and Robin Green, who created The Sopranos. It was about a family of cops in New York and it was just more alive and had more potential than anything else I’d read.”

Over the years, Estes has been able to see Jamie in a different light.

He told the publication that it’s been great “to watch Jamie mature along with my own maturation as an actor. Jamie started as a rookie and I was a rookie at playing Jamie. So I guess we grew together.”

Estes finds Jamie working on his new marriage with Eddie Janko-Reagan, played by Vanessa Ray. The actor also is one that the show’s fans will see sitting around the famed Reagan dinner table.

Blue Bloods continues to perform well on Friday nights. There’s no doubt that Estes has played a role in keeping the police drama on the air. His character has a lot of different qualities.
