‘Blue Bloods’ Stars Bridget Moynahan and Donnie Wahlberg Once Went Off-Script for Hilarious Moment

You never know what will happen when actors go off-script. For Bridget Moynahan and Donnie Wahlberg of Blue Bloods, it turned out funny.

Outsiders, let’s take a look at when this happened. We get a little help from Looper, too.

This situation happened during the show’s Season 5 on CBS. Blooper reels do have a number of places where Moynahan, who plays Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan, shows off. Wahlberg plays Detective Danny Reagan in the police drama.

Despite her serious job, Moynahan’s character can also show off a sense of humor.

But this scene shows Danny coming into Erin’s office for an important conversation. The script has him leaving the office and simply blowing an air kiss Erin’s way.

Well, the Blue Bloods costar headed over to Moynahan and acted out a deep, inappropriate kiss. She ends up returning that fake kiss, which leads them and the crew to crack up.

Wahlberg innocently claims he was following the script. Well, he wasn’t. But he did get away with it as Moynahan also got her moment in the blooper moment, too. This is an example of just how close the cast has gotten.

Blue Bloods airs on Fridays at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on CBS.

Moynahan and Costar Steve Schirripa Had ‘Chemistry’ From The Get-Go

If you are familiar with Moynahan’s role and office, then you know she has some help.

Well, when you can ask your private investigator to help you in a time of need, then you do it.

Steve Schirripa plays Anthony Abetemarco, who helps Erin out when needed. He talks about working with her and what it was like from the beginning on Blue Bloods.

Schirripa gives his answer during an interview with Talk Nerdy With Us.

“You know, I liked them all,” he said when asked what scene he liked filming most in the series. “I enjoy working with Bridget Moynahan a lot and doing scenes with her. Right off the bat, we seemed to have good chemistry together.

“We had a scene in the first episode that I did under the Queensboro Bridge and I liked that,” Schirripa said. “It kind of set the tone for everything. They were kind of having a little squabble but you can see that he has a lot of confidence in her and her opinion.”

They have worked well since getting put together back in 2016.

Schirripa first appeared as Abetemarco in Season 6. This season had Abetemarco wrangle Detective Danny Reagan into his world as Anthony’s cousin finds himself in trouble.

Watching the two of them play off one another was definitely something to behold on Blue Bloods.
