Well, “Blue Bloods” fans got a glimpse of Sean Reagan having a little action on the police beat. Is the young man joining the family trend?
The young Reagan, played by Andrew Terraciano, headed out for a ride-along. It didn’t go well as he ended up in the hospital with a concussion and a black eye.
An article from Matt & Jess helps us flesh out this situation.
As we said, Outsiders, Sean went out for a ride-along with Officer Eddie Janko-Reagan, played by Vanessa Ray, and Officer Rachel Witten, played by Lauren Marie Patten.
The “Blue Bloods” character also lied to Officer Jamie Reagan, played by Will Estes. Sean said it was for a school project and that he got his father’s permission. Who is his father? None other than Detective Danny Reagan, played by Donnie Wahlberg.
‘Blue Bloods’ Danny Reagan Was In No Mood To Quibble With Eddie, Witten
We’ll get to Danny in a minute. But young Sean disobeyed an order from Eddie to stay in the cruiser. Eddie and Witten had to get out for a chase. He got out and started chasing someone he thought was a suspect. Sean did send a text message tip that led to the suspect’s arrest.
But the young man got a nice shiner for his work.
Let’s ask this question, “Blue Bloods” fans. Do you think Danny was calm and cool when he learned what happened? Um, that would be a no.
He was ticked at Sean and Jamie and Eddie. The brouhaha carried over to the famed Reagan dinner table.
Dinner Table Becomes Place Where Entire Conversation Reaches Fever Pitch
It was there that NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan, played by Tom Selleck, Assistant District Attorney Ern Reagan, played by Bridget Moynahan, and Retired NYPD Commissioner Henry Reagan, played by Len Cariou, got involved.
Talk about a messy situation. But a compromise was in the air.
Jamie confronted Danny, telling him that he needed to work with people who don’t meet his expectations. That includes his own son.
Danny ends up going to see Sean and took the teen out for dinner. We will have to wait and see if Danny’s son ends up joining the police force on “Blue Bloods” in the future.
Fans are wondering if Jamie will reach lieutenant status this season.
“When will Jaime be promoted to lieutenant?” one fan asked on Reddit. “Will it happen this year? Will he be #1 on the list again?”
“It would definitely be nice to see a Reagan move up again,” MattCW1701 wrote in the thread.
The Redditor also noted that Jamie probably is the lone person in the “Blue Bloods” family who is looking at a promotion.
