Happy Holidays from “Blue Bloods”! The official Instagram page for the show recently posted a sweet photo of the Reagan family around the dinner table. “Happy Holidays from our #BlueBloods family to yours,” the caption reads.

“Blue Bloods” aired its most recent episode on Dec. 10, but the good news is we don’t have much longer to wait for the next episode; the show comes back from its winter hiatus on January 7th.

The previous episode focused on a cyberattack at the station, leading to Danny and Baez making a mistake with a suspect and letting him escape. Additionally, Frank brought in an old friend, Sloane Thompson, from London. She was there to help them figure out the attack, but there was some chemistry between her and Frank that fans were excited about. She hadn’t been on the show for a few seasons, and fans were glad to see her back.

The episode concluded with Baez getting shot in the field, but it turned out to not be too bad. She survived, thanks to Danny getting her to the hospital in time. Baez has also been questioning her place in the NYPD. Could this gunshot be an excuse to take some time off and rethink where she wants to be?

What’s the Most Watched Episode of ‘Blue Bloods’?

“Blue Bloods” has been on since 2010, and in that time the Reagans have grown, changed, and been through so many hardships. But what’s the episode that fans love the most?

That would be the pilot episode, which aired on Sept. 24, 2010. In the episode, we meet the Reagan family as Jamie graduates from the police academy. He left behind an illustrious career in law to join the family business in law enforcement. Additionally, Danny and Demetrius King have to find a missing girl who has 24 hours left to live. The girl is Latina, and the press comes down on Frank for how he’s handling the community’s distrust in him.

Things get tough for Danny when his handling of an interrogation gets out of hand. Erin gives him the most flak for it, telling her brother he has 48 hours to make a case or their suspect walks.

At the time the episode aired, it brought in 13.1 million viewers. Additionally, 2.26 million viewers watched the episode after it aired. That’s a whopping 15.7 million viewers in total.

The highest-rated episode, in comparison, is the season 10 finale, titled “Family Secrets.” It rated a 9.2 out of 10, and it was the first time we meet Joe Hill. Sean Reagan gets a mysterious match on an ancestry website, and he does some digging to figure out who it is. Joe eventually joins the Reagan clan, if only briefly.
