On Monday (January 10th), Bob Saget’s wife Kelly Rizzo broke her silence about the Full House star’s sudden passing in a new statement.

In her statement to People, Rizzo reveals that Bob Saget was her absolute everything. “I am so completely shattered and in disbelief,” the Full House star’s wife shared. “I am so deeply touched by the outpouring of love and tribute from our friends, family, his fans, and his peers.”

Rizzo also states that when the time is right and when Bob Saget’s passing is not “as raw,” she will share more details about the late actor and comedian to the world. “Sharing how much he meant to me; all of those around him; and how much all of his fans and friends meant to him as well. Thank you for respecting my privacy at this time.”

Bob Saget’s family previously issued a statement about his passing. “We are devastated that our beloved Bob passed away today. He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans; performing live; and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter. Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”

Bob Saget was confirmed dead on Sunday (January 9th). The late actor was found in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Orlando, Florida. Authorities also reported that there is no evidence of drug use or foul play in his death. However, the cause of death has not been determined yet.

Bob Saget’s Family Called the Hotel After Being unable to Contact Him

According to CNN, family members of Bob Saget contacted security at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Sunday when they were unable to reach the actor. It was revealed that a member of hotel security was sent to the late actor’s room after the call. The employee notably knocked on the door several times and attempted to gain entry. When the hotel security team was able to enter the room, they found all the lights off in the room.

In the report by the Orange County Police Department, it was revealed that Bob Saget used his room key to enter the room at 2:17 AM on Sunday. Deputy Adrian Gonzalez responded to the call from the Ritz-Carlton in reference to a “man down.”

“I was provided information by dispatch that a male was found unresponsive and not breathing,” Gonzalez explains in the report. Orange County Fire Rescue was already on the scene and pronounced Bob Saget dead shortly before Gonzalez arrived. He was declared deceased at 4:18 p.m. local time.
