With Christmas just days away, Bosch star Titus Welliver takes to his Twitter account to share a snapshot of his holiday decoration set-up.

“Tree sorted,” the Bosch star declared in his post. “Happy Christmas to all…”

Fans of the actor also took to the social media platform to share their appreciation for his festive snapshot. “What a beautiful warm atmosphere, this wonderful tree radiates,” one fan declared. “I wish you and your family a Christmas in peace, love, and harmony.”

However, another fan asked Welliver when the spin-off series Bosch: Legacy would premiere, in which he responded with, “No date yet.”

Others then declared they are waiting impatiently for the new show. Bosch: Legacy was announced earlier this year. In the spin-off, Welliver will reprise his role as Harry Bosch. Madison Lintz is also returning as Harry’s daughter Maddie. Mimi Rogers will also return to the Bosch universe as well as Honey Chandler. The upcoming show is produced by Welliver along with Erik Overmyer, Henrik Bastin, Pieter Jan Burgge, and writer Michael Connelly.

In a statement about the new series, Connelly stated, “I am beyond excited by this and I think the fans that have called for more Bosch will be as well. To continue the Harry Bosch story. And see him team up with ‘Money’ Chandler will be more than I could have ever wished for. I can’t wait to get started.”

Meanwhile, filming for the show took place in June 2021. It was ordered by Amazon’s ad-supported streaming service, IMDb TV.

Titus Welliver Speaks Out About the ‘Bosch’ Upcoming Spinoff

While speaking about the highly anticipated series, Titus Welliver said that to say he is ecstatic is an understatement. “The process of shooting season seven with the shadow of it being our final loomed heavily so when the idea was presented to continue with the possibility of a spinoff, without hesitation I said, ‘Let’s go.’”

The actor went on to thank the show’s fans for their support during the original series run. “Thank you for your incredible support for all these years. And I can promise you the ride will only get better.”

Bastin went on to add,  “I couldn’t be more thrilled to continue our relationship with Amazon Studios/ Michael and now IMDb TV to tell more of Harry Bosch’s exciting story.”

According to IMDb, Bosch follows an L.A.P.D. homicide detective who works to solve the murder of a thirteen-year-old boy while standing trial in federal court for the murder of a serial killer. The show first premiered in 2014 and ran for seven seasons.

Those who starred alongside Welliver throughout the series included Amy Aquino, Jamie Hector, Lance Reddick, Troy Evans, Mimi Rogers, and DaJuan Johnson.
