New Year’s Eve is a night meant for celebration and most importantly champagne. Carrie Underwood knows how to celebrate the holiday.

Those that follow Underwood on social media know that she is always posting updates. It looks like the country music superstar is relaxing tonight and enjoying a low-key New Year’s Eve. She has her champagne in hand, a martial arts robe, and Karate Kid spinoff Cobra Kai queued up.

Underwood has had quite the year this year. 2021 meant a return to playing shows and live music. She had a number one hit with Jason Aldean. And, of course, her Las Vegas residency. So, safe to say, she had a successful trip around the sun. Hopefully, next year is even better.

Check out her New Year’s Eve post from Instagram below.

“Tonight’s plans involve champagne and [Cobra Kai]! I’m pretty sure [William Zabka] stole this from wardrobe to give to me, but it’s being put to good use! [Cheers], everyone,” the caption reads.

Carrie Underwood fans are always wanting to see the next thing from the singer. So, of course, there were a lot of replies and reactions to the post. Jennifer Wayne of Runaway June replied, “Have a glass for me. [Happy] new year!!!!”

Another reply was from a fan. @hannah_mccarroll24 said, “Omg that was soo cool seeing you in the series [Cobra Kai]!!!!!!! I was like yesss girl.”

Around this time of year, Underwood is pretty popular. Her Christmas songs and album, My Gift, have become very popular. I don’t think I can remember the last holiday season that I didn’t hear Underwood throughout. It is clear that her passion for music runs deep.

Carrie Underwood On Her Supportive Father

Carrie Underwood has been in music for a long time. She has come a long way since she was a contestant on American Idol. Thankfully, early on, she had tons of support from her father. Imagine a world in which she doesn’t become a world-famous performer? It just wouldn’t be right!

She recently talked about her early love for music. Growing up, she was lucky enough to have support from her family. That meant her dad went out to an auction and got her speakers. He saved money to get karaoke tapes. And, he never made her stop singing.

“I grew up in a really small house,” she explained.” So I was probably annoying everybody all the time. There was nowhere to run from it. There was no place to get away. If I was singing, I was singing and that was that.”

This has been a great year for Carrie Underwood. She seems to maintain or one-up her success year in and year out. Fans are likely going to love what she has in store for 2022.
