‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’: Pat Sajak Brings A-Game in Back-and-Forth With Boyz II Men in Sunday Preview

by Matthew Memrick

Leave it to “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak to bring his best stuff in some quick banter with Boyz II Men singer Wanya Morris in a preview for Sunday.

The episode will air on Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern.

First, Pat Sajak compliments Morris on his “great, great group” before approving Morris’s flashy jacket. The host joked about the possible fashion faux pas of wearing the same outfit as Morris, which drew some laughter from Morris and the crowd.

Morris wore a white suit coat with lovely flowers on it, saying he wanted to “stand out, you know.”

Then, Pat Sajak buttered Morris up a little, saying the singer “had one of the great voices of all time.”

Sajak responded, “that’s one of the things that makes the group work.”

Morris and Boyz II Men group co-founder Shawn Stockman will compete in an upcoming episode with NSYNC’s Joey Fatone. The 90s band is known for their hits “End of The Road,” “I’ll Make Love To You,” and the classic “Motown Philly.” The band is one of the best-selling R&B groups of all time, with 64 million albums sold.

Pat Sajak remembered Morris’s last “Wheel of Fortune” appearance, going back to 1999.

Wanya Morris also talked about his 22-year-old memory of walking on the show back in Philly.

Of course, Morris joked about how long it’s been, and Sajak took that softball and hit it over the fence with this response.

“Wow, you were boys back then,” Sajak said in shock. “And now you’re men.”

More Boyz II Men Fun With Pat Sajak

In another clip released by the show, Morris gets tested on his band’s success. Sajak lightly grills Morris with a question, asking the singer how many Grammys the band has won over the years.

Morris responds with four, and Pat Sajak jokes, “Just checking.”

Finally, Stockman gets in on the act with the show piecing together his strategy. In four-game segments, the singer tells Sajak he wants to buy a vowel. The host reveals he’s on to Stockman, saying, “If I know you, you’re gonna buy a vowel.”

Stockman shows some of his own quick wit.

“You know me,” the singer responds as everyone laughs.
