‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’: Vanna White Poses for Star-Studded Selfie

by Megan Molseed

Sunday fun days are the perfect days to share some selfies! And, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is right on top of this unofficial rule this weekend. To prove this, the popular star-studded game show shares a pic of our favorite letter-turner posing with some big-name contestants.

“Sundays are for selfies,” tweets Celebrity Wheel of Fortune in the Sunday morning post.

In the photo, Vanna White is all smiles as former Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Caroline Rhea holds the iPhone to take a pic. Caroline Rhea is of course beaming right alongside the Celebrity Wheel of Fortune cohost.

Standing behind the lovely ladies are Rhea’s fellow Celebrity Wheel contestants Andy Richter and Vanilla Ice.

“Who wants to photobomb this picture?” quips the Celebrity Wheel of Fortune Twitter page in the November 28 post before tagging @AndyRichter @TheVannaWhite @vanillaice and @CarolineRhea.

A ‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’ Throwback

The star-studded Celebrity Wheel photo popped up on the game shows Twitter just this weekend. However, this star-studded episode aired earlier this fall in October.

Maybe the popular game show decided this week was a perfect time to toss a throw-back photo into the Twitterverse? Especially since the next brand-new Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is set to air on December 5.

The game show will not be airing a new episode tonight, Sunday, November 28. This is in order to make room for some festive ABC holiday specials.

When the Celebrity Wheel of Fortune episode featuring these three stars aired in October, Maggie Sajak was excited to touch base with the trio in a segment called Celebrity Spin with Maggie Sajak.

During his interview with Maggie Sajak, Andy Richter, who is best known as the sidekick to late-night talk show icon Conan O’Brien discussed what he did to prepare for his time on the popular game show’s celebrity edition.

“I played the game, you know, that’s on the phone,” the comedian told the Celebrity Spin with Maggie Sajak host. “The phone on the game.”

Then, of course, Sajak had to remind the comedian in a hilarious clip that this “game that’s on the phone” is called an app.

Playing For Some Wonderful Causes

In this episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune Richter competed to win cash prizes to donate to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. According to the comedian, his decision to select this charity couldn’t have been more simple.

“They are there to feed hungry people,” Richter says of the Food Bank.

Caroline Rhea competed in the episode to win donations for the Dempsey Center an organization that helps people manage the impact of cancer on patients and families.

Vanilla Ice’s chosen charity was Little Smiles a group that works with terminally ill children similar to the goals of the Make-a-Wish foundation.
