With Chicago Fire off and running after a break, what might it look like for Jason Pelham, or actor Brett Dalton, to join up full-time?
Derek Haas, who is the showrunner for the NBC first-responder drama, talks about this in an article for TV Line.
Fans are expressing their desire for Dalton to be around through this season’s end.
Well, the Chicago Fire show leader has some thoughts regarding a storyline that just started on Wednesday night.
“We’re going to look into more of why he was floating for as long as he was, and that story is just beginning,” Haas says. “There are some enemies out there who were perfectly content to keep him out of the permanent leadership position. So that’s going to bring in the whole house.”
Enemies? Ooh boy, sounds like a sweet mix of trouble and success for Pelham, and Dalton, for the rest of this season.
Outsiders, Chicago Fire is going to take a hiatus in a few weeks as the Winter Olympics will kick off. NBC is the host network and they will show events during their primetime window.
Get your fill of original, new episodes right now. It’ll be a stretch before they are back on. Yes, of course, you can watch reruns where they are being shown on your cable TV schedule.
The show, which is in its 10th season and already has been OK’d for Season 11, stars Taylor Kinney, David Eigenberg, and Kara Kilmer.
‘Chicago Fire’ Fans, Here’s Where You Saw Actress Who Played Susan Weller Before
Outsiders, have you ever watched a TV show and thought, “Yeah, I’ve seen that actor before but where was it?”
We understand your situation. On Chicago Fire, one actress’s appearance had fans asking that question.
Chicago Fire seemingly has a neverending rotation of actors that show up all the time.
A memorable character from the NBC drama appeared in Season 5. Susan Weller was played by Lauren Stamile. Weller was a consultant to Matthew Casey, played by Jesse Spencer, during his political career.
Weller just had a five-episode arc on Chicago Fire.
Actress Lauren Stamile, who played Weller, might look familiar to show fans.
Stamile had roles on TV shows like The West Wing, The Drew Carey Show, and Scrubs.
Yet one of the most popular early roles in her career was on the sitcom Off Centre. She had a run that people and fans of the show still remember to this day.
When an actress has that much clout going down, then you know that is something to behold on Chicago Fire. The Dick Wolf franchise machine just keeps on running forward, too. Wolf is executive producer for the show, too.
