‘Chicago Fire’ Star Brett Dalton Captures Incredible Colorado Mountain Views

by Shelby Scott

we’re just one day from the NBC series’ midseason premiere, “Chicago Fire” star Brett Dalton is sharing incredible Colorado mountain views as he heads back to Chicago to pick up filming

The National Geographic-Esque image captures a black flowing creek lined with a coating of snow on its left bank and a collection of trees and dimly lit houses on its right. The entire image is strung together as it lies atop a periwinkle sky, a sliver of golden light reflecting on the water’s surface.

“Ok Colorado, I miss you,” the “Chicago Fire” star grudgingly captures the post. “There. Are you happy?”

While we didn’t receive a clear answer from the midwestern state, we do know that Chicago and “Chicago Fire” fans have been missing Brett Dalton during the series winter hiatus.

And now, it seems Brett Dalton’s character, Jason Pelham, may finally take a front seat position in the show’s storyline. If you remember correctly, the final episode before “Chicago Fire’s” winter break saw Chief Boden officially offer Pelham the Lieutenant’s position on Truck 81.

Therefore, we know that, at least for now, Pelham is here to stay.

Will Kidd and Pelham Come to Blows in ‘Chicago Fire’ Return?

Pelham has been a crucial though rookie character this season, and already the cast member has become a favorite among “Chicago Fire” fans. Now, as we know, the new character has attained the Lieutenant’s position on Truck 81 through Chief Boden’s endorsement. With that, we can’t help but wonder whether he and Stella will come to blows when the fan-favorite character returns during the midseason premiere on Wednesday.

Unfortunately, showrunners have only shared this brief preview for “Chicago Fire” ahead of the new episode. It definitely puts a heavy feature on Kidd, further hinting at her permanence at Firehouse 51. However, we have absolutely no insight as to the kind of relationship she builds with Pelham.

Additionally, the synopsis for the upcoming episode provides Outsiders more nothing as to the potential tension between the two Lieutenants. Instead, we get:

“Stella Kidd returns to Firehouse 51. The team must work together to put out a potassium fire in a tunnel. After that, Ritter begins to worry about a young cop who witnessed the fiery death of a truck driver.”

Overall, it tells us little about Kidd’s return. Obviously, we can expect drama between the firefighting fan-favorite couple, Stellaride.

Entitled “Back with A Bang,” the new episode definitely isn’t lacking when it comes to new and interesting plots. However, I suppose we’ll have to wait Outsiders until the new episode premieres until we can see where things go for Pelham and Kidd.
