The “Chicago Fire” star shows fans his beautiful beach views. What could be better than a holiday on the beach?

“Chicago Fire” star Taylor Kinney is enjoying the beach this week. In his latest Instagram post, Kinney snaps a picture of a rooftop patio overlooking the ocean. The sky is blue, the water is bright, and the day is sunny. Three people are also in the shot but their backs are facing the camera. Could this be Kinney’s family? Or, could they be friends of the “Chicago Fire” star?

In his enthusiastic caption, Taylor Kinney wishes a happy birthday to “Brother J.” Considering Kinney does not have a brother with a first name beginning with the letter “J,” fans are unsure of who he is writing his post about.

Some believe it is about his friend and actor Joel Berti, who appeared as Officer Joe Ingles on “Chicago Fire.” The two stars are both friends, so this is very possible! The banner flying in the wind reads “1971,” which is also the year that Berti was born. Also appearing in “Arctic Apocalypse and “Days of Our Lives,” the actor has a long list of credits.

Fans are commenting on the beautiful view and Kinney’s birthday message.

“I am a little jealous 🙈 but I hope you have a great time. 😊” one fan says.

“Happy Birthday to your Brother J @taylorkinney111 That view is amazing. MERRY CHRISTMAS TOO YOU ❤️❤️❤️” another writes.

Here at Outsider, we hope the “Chicago Fire” actor and his friends are having a relaxing Christmas in paradise.

When Does ‘Chicago Fire’ Return?

According to reports, “Chicago Fire” returns to NBC on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. It is the 10th episode of Season 10 and is titled “Back With a Bang.” The episode description is just as intriguing.

“Stella Kidd returns to Firehouse 51. The team must work together to put out a potassium fire in a tunnel. After that incident, Ritter begins to worry about a young cop who witnessed the fiery death of a truck driver.”

Fans have not received a new episode of the NBC drama since December 8, 2021. In the show’s “Winterfest” episode, viewers watched Firehouse 51 spread some Christmas cheer. Gallo, Violet, and Ritter debuted their new “microbrewery business,” and things felt a bit lighter. With a month in-between these two episodes, fans are dying to know what comes next. The latest teaser of the new episode shows great tension between Kelly Severide and Stella Kidd.

Whatever the outcome of their relationship, Taylor Kinney hopes that his character stays for awhile.

“I don’t think there’s a lack of stories to tell with this character. He’s a resilient guy.”
