It’s going to get dicey, Outsiders, on an upcoming episode of “Chicago PD” as a once-trusted informant betrays their trust in her.

An article from Matt & Jess indicates this rogue informant might put Hank Voight, played by Jason Beghe, in a bind.

OK, so this looks like it could be a plotline that runs for a stretch.

Is this one of them, Outsiders? We’re not sure as of yet.

The Intelligence team is working to stop a drug ring and its activities. Voight’s chatting with this new female informant. She’s kind of listening but is looking out for No. 1 here.

Catch this episode titled “Trust Me” on “Chicago PD” next Wednesday at 10 p.m Eastern, 9 p.m. Central.

‘Chicago PD’ Was Able To Have A Number of Veterans Help With Scene In Show

While “Chicago PD” is focused on the adventures in a police department, the show needed to recruit some military veterans.

Why? Oh, it was for a good reason. They were needed as extras in one of the NBC drama’s episodes.

A recent Wednesday night show had the show’s team members at a local Veterans Affairs hospital.

In turn, “Chicago PD” had 15 soldiers – real ones, not Hollywood ones – in the show. They were all veterans of war zones.

With these brave soldiers on hand to participate, it adds some true meaning to the episode and scene itself.

Famous Movie Star’s Son Had Part In Pilot But Didn’t Make It To Network Show

What if we told you “Chicago PD” had the opportunity to let a famous movie star’s son on its show, then said almost “no thanks”?

You’d want to know who that person was, right?

Scott Eastwood appeared in the NBC drama’s backdoor pilot. Yes, the last name is correct. He’s the son of legendary actor-director Clint Eastwood.

What happened? TVline coughs up the info. Eastwood was Officer Jim Barnes. But the show moved forward and cut Eastwood’s character. Sources say Scott Eastwood got cut from the show over “creative reasons” and that’s that.

Jesse Lee Hoffer Was Placed In TV Drama After Scott Eastwood Departure

Those reasons must have been seriously severe.

Well, the network added Jesse Lee Soffer to replace Scott Eastwood and his character.

Soffer is in, Eastwood is out, and Marina Squerciati is back as Officer Kim Burgess.

Last season, Burgess escaped after she was shot while chasing down a couple of criminals. Halstead and Atwater, played by LaRoyce Hawkins, got Burgess to “Chicago Med” for surgery.

There had been some questions around whether Burgess would survive or not. Seeing Squerciati on the show’s set put fans’ minds at ease.

So, “Chicago PD” fans,” get ready for another exciting episode next week on NBC.
