Duane “Dog” Chapman prays to his fans and includes a loving wedding image of him and his wife, Francie. The caption reads: “We wish all our friends and beloved fans a happy and healthy new year. We pray the Lord will richly bless you and yours. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 “Love, Dog and Francie.”

Fans soaked up the love by leaving kind messages in the comments. One fan wrote: “HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Much love to you and your wife and of course BETH as she shines down and guides you through the new year and beyond.” Another fan wrote: “Happy New year God bless you and your Family Wish you all much happiness and great health along with a prosperous life.”

Although she trained as a gymnast and an ice-stater, Chapman worked as a nightclub stripper, waitress and clerk.

The mother of four stared alongside her husband Dog the Bounty HunterDog and Beth: On the Hunt, and Dog’s Most Wanted. This was the series where fans learned of Chapman’s terminal cancer. The reality star passed away on June 29th, 2019 from throat cancer complications at 52.

After her death, a rep for the family revealed the news to WGN America. “We are deeply saddened by the tragic news that Beth Chapman lost her battle with cancer today. She was an exceptional woman, fiercely loyal and passionate about her family and she was a true joy to work with. All of us at WGN America will miss her tremendously. Our thoughts and prayers are with Duane, her family, loved ones, and millions of fans.”

Even though they were all saddened by Beth’s death, the cast of the reality show shared a throwback picture photo from the series to honor her. It showed Dog front and center with Beth as his sidekick standing next to him. Her white-blonde hair and piercing stare meant to frighten criminals on the run
