Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson has continued to thrive in the spotlight long after the hit show left in 2017 from A&E. However, from an outside observer this may seem to have been an easy transition for Robertson. That is not the case, though, as Robertson and her husband highlighted the importance of “faithfulness” for them in a new heartfelt video.
For the caption, Robertson of Duck Dynasty wrote, “we talked about faithfulness on this week vlog and read from Ecclesiastes 11:6 ESV “In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good.” !!! We laughed about how I have had a goal to do 1 pull up for a while now. I haven’t reached the goal yet, but I wake up early and bust my booty to grow my muscles to the point of being able to pull myself up. It’s frustrating, it’s challenging, and it’s taking way longer than I thought. But that doesn’t mean it’s not still a good goal to go after! That doesn’t mean that I should pick a new goal… that means I need to just commit to the process and keep showing up.”
Message from The ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star
You just never know what another person is going through, but the important thing is to remain faithful in yourself and to keep at it. Even if something you thought would work out but does not end up doing so. That’s perfectly OK.
The caption continued, “I think sometimes we think if something is hard work, frustrating, or taking too long then God must not be in it. We think we just need to choose another option… another call… wait for another word…. But who’s to say that God isn’t in something just because it’s hard!!! I think that a lot of times I’ve seen God do the most with the things that took me the longest to prepare… the hardest of challenges… the most frustrating moments. God meets you in that, and your faith increases as you see Him show up throughout your faithfulness.”
Her message is a positive one. One that tries to inspire folks to keep the faith because it pays off in the end.
Sadie of Duck Dynasty concluded, “Just because things are hard doesn’t mean God not in it. You have to commit to the process and commit to the call. Be faithful and let Him do the rest. You will see the fruit one day, and when you do you will be thankful that you got up and sowed your seed![Full video on YouTube channel].”
Duck Dynasty ended in 2017 on A&E.
