On Friday (September 17th), Fast & Furious star Lucas Black took to his Twitter account to share with his followers just how much he is grateful to live in the U.S.

“Our Founding Fathers knew our RIGHTS come from God , not man, not government,” Lucas Black writes in the Twitter post. “That is why it is so stated in the United States Constitution. I am Thankful to have this written in the framework of the country which I live #Constitution #USA”

The latest post comes just days after Lucas Black wrote a special post on Instagram. It was dedicated to those who lost their lives during the September 11th attacks.

“9/11 We will always Remember,” the actor stated in the post. “The images of that day will live in our minds forever. And they should. So many emotions. So many thoughts.”

Lucas Black goes on to state that although the infamous terrorist attacks showed him that there is definitely evil in this world, it also showed him that good overcomes. “It showed me that humans can believe in something bigger than themselves and have the courage to sacrifice. Much for what they believe in.”

Lucas Black then explained that following the attacks, the country united and sought God, with the churches even being full.

“We built our Faith and United against evil. This is needed much today. Our faith and freedom are under attack today. We will have to stand courageously against evil to protect our Faith and this great Nation we live in.”

Lucas Black Spoke About Returning to ‘Fast & Furious’ Franchise

Prior to the release of Fast & Furious’ F9, Lucas Black spoke to Entertainment Weekly about making a return to the action-packed franchise.  “There was always talk of bringing my character back [to the franchise],” Black stated. “And so when they called for 7, you just want to know what that entails.”

Lucas Black then explained that the role was small and more of a connect the dots with Han Lue, who was played by Sung King. “For me, I just want to know the plan for [my Fast & Furious character] Sean Boswell and not really just to be stuck in there.”

Lucas Black then stated that he thinks the producers, writers, and studio realized that fans really wanted to see the Fast & Furious family as well as everyone who is involved in the same movie.

“So I know everyone’s been super excited about F9, and we get to reunite with everyone in the other movies. And so they made it happen for F9, and we’ll see what happens from there.”

F9 is set to be released on Blu-ray, Ultra HD Blu-ray, and DVD this Tuesday (September 21st). The film’s sequel is set to premiere on April 7, 2023.
