Oh boy, FBI fans, get ready. It appears that Jeremy Sisto’s Jubal Valentine character will be going through some things.

Sisto, who plays Valentine on the CBS drama, talked about what is coming up for his character in an interview with Cinema Blend. The focus, obviously, is on what happens after the show’s midseason finale.

“But it’s not just this episode,” Sisto says. “It goes beyond. He’s going to be in a precarious time for some time while he deals with the grief of the situation or the fallout of this trauma.

“It adds to the danger, the stakes,” the FBI actor says. “When the people you have out there on the case are usually the ones keeping it together, when they are in question, they’re still better than somebody else.

“But at what point do you have to make the call to, ‘You know what, I’m going to step aside,'” Sisto says. “Or the call if you’re the boss to sideline someone for a period. But yeah, he doesn’t get sidelined and he is highly motivated to find the culprit and handle the situation.”

Outsiders, if you are looking for any new FBI episodes before or just after Christmas, then hold your horses. There will not be a new episode until Jan. 4, 2022, when Fostered airs on CBS. A show synopsis states (spoiler upcoming): “As the team investigates a string of jewelry store robberies that culminate in a double murder, they uncover a connection to a 16-year-old boy trying to survive the foster care system.”

FBI is part of the FBI franchise created by Dick Wolf. Most Wanted and International also are part of the franchise, which has all three shows airing on Tuesday nights on CBS.

When the hiatus ends for one show, it will end for all three. So mark Jan. 4, 2022, on your calendars. The franchise shows kick off with FBI at 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central.

‘FBI’ Actor Talks About His Favorite Place to Record Scenes For Show

So, would it surprise you that FBI star Jeremy Sisto has a favorite place to shoot scenes?

He does. When he talked with US Weekly this year, the Jubal Valentine actor shared 25 things that his fans did not know about him at all.

Some things were about his daughter Charlie and his son Bastian. Other things included his practice of Transcendental Meditation.

Hey, Sisto even shares that one of his daughter’s friends calls him “Elton,” which was his character in the movie Clueless.

OK, so where did he like doing scenes? The Joint Operations Command room. It is where a commander makes and executes serious decisions. Valentine is Assistant Special Agent in Charge.
