‘FBI’: ‘Women in Action’ Tiff and Maggie Tackle Case as Partners in Upcoming Return Episode

by Anna Dunn

FBI is having Tiff and Maggie set to tackle a case together in the upcoming episode. The show, which is in its fourth season, will make a return after the mid-season finale in December. And fans are particularly excited about this team-up.

“Tiff and Maggie partner up on this next case. Don’t miss these badass women in action TOMORROW on an all-new #FBICBS.” the Twitter account for the show shared. The tweet features a photo of the two in the middle of a serious-looking conversation.

“MMMMMM I was just about to check on when I’d be able to catch new moments of these two awesome women ever!!” one fan said in the replies.

“Can’t wait to see it,” another fan said.

Others noted how they hope this team-up will help Maggie. They hope she’ll snap out of the “funk” she’s been in this season. Some have even noted they really haven’t liked the direction the show has taken Maggie this season. They hope this is a sign she’ll take charge a bit more.

Maggie Gave ‘FBI’ Fans Quite the Scare in The Winter Finale

In the most recent finale, Maggie, played by Missy Peregrym got shot. Fans were terrified that they were about to see the end of the character, but thankfully, she pulled through and it was a (relatively) minor injury. Fans were thrilled because they’ve loved Missy Peregrym’s work on the show.

And Peregrym joined FBI for a really touching reason. And it all has to do with someone in a different procedural show, Law & Order: SVU actress Mariska Hargitay.

“I had put myself out there for other things, but there wasn’t anything I was as excited about. The reason why I was excited about this was it’s no different than “Law & Order: SVU” in that the impact that show has had outside of the show is remarkable, and I’m really impressed with what Mariska [Hargitay] has made of that,” she explained in a Variety interview during one of the shows earliest seasons.

Outside of Law & Order: SVU, Mariska Hargitay has done a ton of advocacy work for sexual assault survivors.

“If we can do something that really impacts people for the greater good with the show and outside of that, there’s nothing else I would rather be a part of,” Peregrym continued.

Now, she’s been a key part of the show over the past four seasons. Fans are thrilled she didn’t have to say goodbye after that stressful Midseason finale.

If you want to catch the next episode of FBI, it comes back tomorrow, Tuesday, January 4th at 8/7 central. But if you’re a fan of the whole franchise, you can also look forward to FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted both returning right after.
