‘Full House’ Star Dave Coulier Mourns Passing of Bob Saget: ‘My Heart Is Broken’

Dave Coulier, who starred alongside Bob Saget in the popular sitcom “Full House,” is mourning the loss of his former co-star and friend.

Bob Saget’s death over the weekend in Orlando Florida was also a shock to practically everyone in the entertainment business. The former “Full House” star was loved by many for his comedic takes and portrayal of Danny Tanner on the show. Dave Coulier and Saget became great friends during the show’s run. In his social media post remembering his friend, Coulier calls himself Saget’s “forever brother” and also says his heart is broken.

“My heart is broken,” the actor and comedian says in a Sunday social media post. “I love you, Bob. Your forever brother, Dave.”

Dave Coulier was one among many “Full House” stars to remember Bob Saget as a co-star and friend. Many social media users responded to Coulier’s post, expressing their sympathies for his loss. Many also posted tributes to Bob Saget, remembering him as a great comedian and human being.

“I am broken and gutted.  I’m in complete and utter shock,” John Stamos says of his “Full House” co-star.  “I will never ever have another friend like him.  Love you so much, Bobby.”

Fellow comedic legend Jim Carey also remembered Saget in a Sunday Twitter post. Carey says the “Full House” star and standup comedian brought joy to the world with his “wonderfully warped comic mind.

“Beautiful Bob Saget passed away today at 65,” Carey writes in his post. “He had a big, big heart and a wonderfully warped comic mind. He gave the world a lot of joy and lived his life for goodness’ sake.”

Saget was found unresponsive in an Orlando hotel on Sunday. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say there is no sign of foul play.

‘Full House’ Stars Deeply Saddened By Bob Saget’s Passing

Saget was in Orlando for a tour stop over the weekend, taking his standup comedy routine around the country. Officials have yet to release a cause of death.

Tributes to the late “Full House” star continued to come in via social media. Candace Cameron Bure, who starred next to Saget on the series, also called her friend one of the best human beings she’s ever known.

“I don’t know what to say,” she says next to a broken heart emoji. “I have no words. Bob was one of the best human beings I’ve ever known in my life. I loved him so much.”

More of Hollywood’s biggest stars also honored Bob Saget, his work and the legacy he leaves behind. Comedians Gilbert Gottfried and John Stewart along with actors Jason Alexander, Adam Sandler and Billy Crystal are among those remembering the “Full House ” star.

A giant in the comedy industry, Bob Saget will certainly be missed by all who knew him.
