Alright! The results are in and the winner of Season 21 of The Voice is Girl Named Tom!

The Team Kelly trio will be known all over the country after this. When the contest started, the siblings were one of the favorites from the beginning. There were so many great performers and performances over the weeks. However, there is just one group standing above the rest.

Now, we didn’t get a huge surprise like we thought we would. Each year the live performances and finale are met with so much excitement and energy. This year, it looks like things were accidentally leaked. The Voice mobile app has a screen that shows contestants that are eliminated and ones that are still in it. Well, the app leaked that Girl Named Tom was going to be chosen as the winner and fans were not happy about it.

Despite the flub, the two-night finale was really fun! The first night the five remaining contestants sang two songs apiece and tonight was filled with amazing performances from big named stars.

For their two songs, Girl Named Tom went with some classics. They sang Baby Now That I’ve Found You by The Foundations. Then they followed it up with The Chain by Fleetwood Mac. Both of those performances were great. The harmony and soft voices of the trio make you think of bands of the past. Those groups like Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young and groups like The Foundations. They have respect for the past and that shows when they are up on stage.

Spoilers Spoil a Big Night on ‘The Voice’

Everything was going great. The performers went on stage Monday night and put their hearts and souls into the music. Each coach besides Ariana Grande had a finalist. Team Kelly and Blake had two apiece. Blake Shelton thought he had a winner with Wendy Moten but it wasn’t meant to be.

It felt like anyone could win, but Girl Named Tom and Moten were the two favorites to many fans. When the spoiler came out, it ruined the feeling of suspense for the show. These things happen, but, we wish they didn’t. That didn’t stop these performers from putting it all on the line, though. Including Moten.

However, Shelton is such a big fan of Moten he might find a way to help her in the next stage of her career anyway. Her voice blew the longtime coach away and he had nothing but gushing praise for The Voice contestant. After she took on Somewhere Over the Rainbow, the Patti LaBelle version, I thought she would be chosen as the winner.

It didn’t happen for the R&B hopeful. Something tells me she has a future in music and will find success shortly after this.

Carrie Underwood and John Legend Cover Blake Shelton

Among the guest performances from famous acts was a duet between Carrie Underwood and John Legend. It wasn’t any duet. Legend and Underwood took The Voice coach Blake Shelton’s Austin. The 2001 tune is Shelton’s first big song. It helped make him the big-name star he is today.

These artists have sung together before. And, they need to sing together more often. They just know how to work well with one another and I can’t wait to see more in the future.
