‘Home Town’ Star Erin Napier Thanks Fans for Supporting Small Businesses

Owning and operating a small business requires a lot of hard work. And there’s a lot of stress involved. It’s not a task for the faint of heart. Small businesses rely on the support of their communities. And they are very grateful for their customers. This is a feeling shared by “Home Town” star Erin Napier.

In a lengthy social media post she shared on Sunday, Nov. 14, Napier thanked her fans for supporting small businesses.

“We are overwhelmed by the amount of support that you have shown to our small town,  @laurelmercantile, @scotsmangeneralstore and the American makers that sell their products in our stores,” Napier shared on Instagram.

The support of small businesses became even more important in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the havoc it caused to economies across the world, according to the “Home Town” star. Needless to say, Erin Napier is very happy that her businesses are still up and running.

“After last year’s loss of over 160,000+ small businesses across the US, we were grateful for another year to do what we love and supply durable, American-made goods to our customers. Our gratitude cannot be fully expressed in words, but the impact is felt and seen across our country,” Napier also shared.

‘Home Town’ Star Erin Napier Said Support of Fans Helped Keep People Employed

The “Home Town” star also said that the support of their fans and customers helped keep dozens of people employed. The support of the customers also encouraged talented craftsmen and women to keep doing the crafts that they love.

“To those of you who supported our store, you helped provide hundreds of makers a reason to keep creating and make ends meet during the hardest year in history. You helped our company provide jobs to more than 70 people with plans to employ more soon,” Erin Napier also shared.

The support of their customers was a sign of encouragement for the “Home Town” star.

“You showed us that you’re just as serious about supporting American manufacturers as we are, and it feels good to know there’s a whole team of us on the same mission,” she also shared.

Erin Napier also encouraged her fans to continue to support small businesses as the calendar changes from 2021 to 2022 – and beyond. But first, there is holiday shopping to be done. And, unsurprisingly, the “Home Town” star wants her fans to do their holiday shopping with small businesses.

“This year, we’re asking that you shop at small businesses and shop early this holiday season. Not just at our store, but in your own hometowns. Like many of yours, Laurel was built on small business and manufacturing,” Napier also shared.
