‘Home Town’ Star Erin Napier Brings the Love with New Photo

by Taylor Cunningham

Erin Napier may be the star of Home Town, but that’s not her most important job. She’s also a wife to Ben and mother to Helen and Mae. In a recent social media post, she gave her fans a glimpse into her off-screen life. And it’s adorable.

Ben and Erin Napier are busy filming season six of Home Town. And when they come home each night, their young family is waiting. The couple has two daughters, three-year-old Helen and five-month-old Mae, who add an element of chaos to Ben and Erin’s life, but they wouldn’t have it any other way.

A few days ago, Erin came home to a beautiful site that reminded her how much she appreciates her husband and kids. And she snapped a picture of the moment to share on Instagram.

“Gosh, i love the people who live in our house,” she wrote.

No one is actually in the picture, but Erin’s family adorns a cute little nook inside her home with their personality. Ben’s work coat hangs over one of four dining chairs, and what we assume was Helen’s Halloween costume, is draped over another chair.

The room is also decorated with handmade arts and crafts. Pink and red hearts are string from wall to wall, and white paper snowflakes hang from the ceiling.

The photo captures a sweet story and gives a glimpse into life at the Napier home.

‘Home Town’ Star Ben and Erin Napier Highlight The Importance Of Small Towns

Ben and Erin Napier started Home Town hoping to make people appreciate the beauty of small towns. As Erin told She Knows in May, small communities are “undervalued,” which is a shame because “you can live a beautiful life in them.”

However, many towns are in desperate need of revitalization. But breathing life into worn communities is time-consuming and expensive. So people often move away and let the town decay. But Erin wants communities to band together and rebuild their Home Towns instead of leaving them behind.

“People really want to believe in a bright future in the place where they live, but rebuilding a town is no small feat,” the HGTV star said. “It takes every member of that community using their gifts and skills coming together to make a difference.”

The Home Town hosts have had a lot of success rebuilding their town of Laurel, Mississippi, and they want other communities to band together to re-beautify their own towns. And that is why they’ve branched out with shows that focus on communities across the country.

On November 27th, Erin and Ben will debut a special titled Home Town TakeoverWhere Are They Now that focuses on all the small towns they’ve helped along the way.

“It will show them the impact that neighbors, local leaders, and a few friends working together can have on their community,” said HGTV president Jane Latman said on the special. “We’ve seen the power of that in Laurel and we want to spark that same change in more small towns.”
