Today marks a very important day in the lives of “Home Town” stars Ben Napier and Erin Napier. Nov. 22, 2021, marks their 13th wedding anniversary.
And like so many of us do, Erin shared a very sweet social media post as part of her celebration. In her post, she included several throwback photos of her and Ben from their wedding and their honeymoon.
“13 years ago we became family then went to NYC for Thanksgiving,” the television personality began her post.
Next, she expressed her gratitude for her husband and their marriage. “Every year on our anniversary week, I’m so very thankful for you and the life we’ve made together. Thank you for loving me, @scotsman.co (Ben Napier),” Erin also wrote.
The “Home Town” star’s post also included 10 very sweet photos. Several of them are from their wedding day. The rest are from their honeymoon in New York City. You can check them out below.
Unsurprisingly, many “Home Town” fans shared well-wishes with Erin and Ben on their special day.
“I just love your love. Thank you for sharing it with the world,” one fan commented on Erin’s post. “A very Happy Anniversary to you both. Your deep love comes across in your shows and is such a pleasure to watch,” another shared. “Beautiful then… even more so now! You two inspire and uplift. Here’s to many, many more years of love and happiness for y’all!” still another posted.
‘Home Town’ Stars Erin and Ben Napier Met in 2004 and Quickly Fell In Love
During their 13 years of marriage, “Home Town” stars Erin Napier and Ben Napier have accomplished a lot. Their popular HGTV home makeover series is obviously one of those accomplishments. They also have two daughters – Helen and Mae – together.
Before they met, however, Erin and noticed Ben and already had a crush on him. The feeling was mutual. Not long after they met, Ben made it very clear just how strongly he felt about Erin. In a blog post she wrote in 2010, Erin shared that Ben expressed his feelings only six days after they met.
“We were sitting in my car. Damien Rice’s ‘Cheers Darling’ was playing. He said, ‘I want to tell you something. I think I’ve fallen in love with you,'” Erin wrote.
And, of course, Erin shared the same feelings for the man who would become her husband in 2008, the father of her children, and her “Home Town” co-star.
“It shook me to my core to hear him say that. After only 6 days, and knowing he’d never said that to anyone before me—I was overjoyed. I didn’t doubt his sincerity, and nothing about it seemed unreasonable. I was more certain of it than many things in my life,” she also wrote in 2010.
